Sanity Saver
OMG....this literally saved my sanity! I have (2) indoor rabbits, and (2) 10 yr olds that help care for them. Between the cardboard shredding a for their litter boxes, and the hay that they need daily, my living room was a constant disaster! I'd vacuum daily, only to have it clog within a minute of starting, so the process of unclogging and finishing vacuuming took forever. Bought a hand vac....helpful for little stuff, still not great on the big pieces of hay. So instead of looking at higher-tech options, and almost desperate enough to just get a small rake, I found the Bissell. It is PERFECT for what I need....picks up the bigger pieces of hay/hair/anything with ease (the kids can use it and LOVE it, so win-win!), then I just vacuum the rest. Works well, easy to empty (holds quite a bit)....great valuenfor the price!

We use these sweepers in our business a lot and this one is great! It has consistently picked up dirt and debris on the floor and runs smoothly. great Product!

Does the job
This sweeper is okay for an occasional light job. It picks up really well, IF you have the "right" rug or carpet. I've tried it on different thickness of rugs and it does better with some than others. Too high of a plush, and it'll take extra effort to get it rolling. Too thin, and it won't pick up a whole lot. I also don't think it'll last very long. The handle is connected to the sweeper by a very small welded (maybe glued) section, and I mean really small. I suspect that if your rug is too thick, it'll require extra effort to get it rolling and the handle will snap. So, it's good for light jobs as it does pick up quite a bit, but the handle is a bit flimsy, so you kind of have to be careful. I also don't think the handle is too short. I'm 5-7 and it works fine for me. Another reviewer also made this suggestion... the top of the handle screws on. You just have to push it in and screw it. Overall, this is an okay product for the price point and what it does.

Use it all the time!
So easy to use! I run this across my area rugs for a quick pick up when I don’t want to pull out the vacuum. It’s lightweight and has held up. Can easily fit in a small closet. Picks up good when you’re in a pinch for time.

Less than efficient. Hard to push. Disappointed in the product.

Doesn't last long :(
We've had this for two months and use it every day! And we love it when it was working correctly for the first month. Which is why I gave it three stars. But it is hard to clean, the bristles become unusable after so many uses because cleaning it is so difficult. And it is now not functioning, a piece keeps popping off for what seems like no reason. We will sadly be throwing this away after only two months of use :(

A Game Changer!
I vacuum my home about every 7 days. It's a large old house with a mixture of hard and soft surface flooring. Additionally, I live in a rural area with little to no paved or hard surfaces on the exterior. I'm constantly dealing with grass, small rocks and other materials that come in on our shoes, and on my dog's feet. (I have two dogs who live mostly indoors but love to track in most of the yard every time they come in the house!) I bought this little guy to help between the vacuum periods... and I'm in love with it!I read the negative reviews about the handle being so short, but it's not a problem for me. I'm only 5'2" so while it is a little short, it's not an issue. What I love about this little sweeper is how well it cleans. It does a great job of picking up grass and other leafy things that make it inside. It also does a really good job on small rocks and some dirt. One of the unexpected super benefits is the amount of dog hair it gets up! I have been absolutely amazed at how much it picks up! I have a ton of area rugs to help protect the wood floors and it does a wonderful job of helping to keep them clean(er)! Also... I saw some negative comments about it not working well on hard surfaces. I found that if I get a little speed up, it does just fine! Zoom!Emptying the sweeper is pretty easy also, once you get the hang of it (at first I kept missing the trash can but now I've got it!).I bought the little bright green one. It's a happy color for such a routine task! I would highly recommend this little sweeper. It's really helped me keep my floors a lot cleaner in between vacuum's!PS: Don't use in a sewing room! The threads get all caught up in the brushes and it takes a while to get them out! Not a surprise really... that also happens to my big vacuum!

Poor Quality From A Premium Brand
My best advice is to either spend more on a better model, or spend less on a no-name option. This particular item disappoints, especially since it's being sold under a premium label. The sweeper itself does a decent job, but build quality is very plastic and lightweight. A few passes over pet hair, and you'll be flipping it over to un-jam the rollers, because they bind up, and make smooth operation impossible. Good luck clearing out the fur too, since the rollers aren't removable. The handle is garbage. Even if it stayed threaded together, which it doesn't do, the entire assembled unit might stand 4ft.. prob closer to 3.5ft. I'm only 5'11", but constantly have to hunch over to get the proper angle where I can apply enough pressure to for the bound up rollers to spin, while also moving across the carpet.I bought this push sweeper to keep in my guest room / office, where I have a very thin area rug covering the hardwood. Aforementioned issues aside, it does a decent job of keeping it clean, but the overall quality and engineering of this product garners it just 2/5 stars; below average. I wouldn't buy another one, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There are better options, if you need it. And there are cheaper options that will perform as well as this one. Hard pass on this Bissell!
