I'm a gig driver. Between Android Auto and my gig app my phone was having more hot flashes than me. I need something extremely durable. In and out of the car a lot so I have to put the cooler on the phone/take it off - repeat, repeat, repeat. It handles all of that with no problem. I have a Samsung 20FE and I couldn't use my magnetic case because it was too wide for the clips on the cooler. Thinner case works just fine. I thought it was broken when I got it because the fan is so quiet. Drops the temp on the phone immediately. I use a battery monitoring app that lets me check the temp. Definitely recommend.

This thing is awesome. My old phone doesn’t hold a charge very well and CarPlay eats up my battery. So use a mag charger on the back but overheats the phone when I’m on the bike. Put this thing on the front screen and it keeps the phone from overheating even on the hottest days and longest rides.

I was skeptical, but was pleasantly surprised by how well this does work to keep my phone cool. I have been using it while streaming baseball games and after the game, the back of the phone and this cooler are both cool to the touch. I previously ran into overheating issues while streaming and have had none since I started using this device. There are a couple of caveats to add. It does not fit over a case, so I did have to remove that. I am not sure how well it would work through a case anyway. Also, it is a little bulky for what I am doing, so for games where I need to mount to a chain-link fence, having this on the phone does force me to stay back from the fence, which can make it difficult to avoid having chain-link showing in the stream. On a tripod there are no concerns of that, and it works great. Overall, if you are streaming and having any overheating issues, I would recommend giving this a try. For cooling, I’d give it 5*. Overall I would give it 4-4.5* based on how I am using it, as I would prefer something a bit slimmer, and to be able to use it with a case on the phone.

This helps my phone stay cool in the car, even in high temperatures. Having the light is a plus for the car so that I know it's actually on and working. It runs quietly and is very reliable.

The Neewer articulating arm shoe mount screw is not long enough to connect to the mounting bracket on the back of this device. I realize that you can't spec every hot shoe or other 1/4" mount on the planet, but this makes configuring very frustrating to say the least. Also, what's up with the female ball mount? Where do I mount that? Don't answer that you smarty-pants.... Overall the quality of this device belies its price point. It appears well built, drops the temp on my forever-hot Pixel 6a that I use as a camera on Twitch to an acceptable level, and is almost dead silent. If your mounting screw is long enough to accomodate this device I would say it's a solid buy for anyone needing to cool their phone under stressful duty. I gave it 3 stars for the oversight on the mounting pad only. The functionality seems to be very good otherwise.

I've purchased a cooler like this before and I'm not sure if I have a defective unit or what. I measured the coldest part of the cold plate using a thermal gun and the coldest it gets is 68F. The fans are super quiet and don't seem to run fast at all. I've tried using different batteries in case it is a voltage issue, but no the fans still run the same speed. The metal plate should get cold enough and feel very cold to the touch. It should get cold enough that it begins to sweat. This doesn't happen at all with this unit and I cannot recommend it. Furthermore, the "arms" are fragile and if you're rough with them they will likely break. This is the same issue I've had with these kind of coolers but at least the other ones I had actually do the advertised thing, which is cool your phone. I could only cool my phone down to 85F when I was charging it. I purchased this to put on my dashboard when using my GPS during the summer in the hot sun. If it cannot handle just being charged in my air conditioned room, then there is no way it can handle being in the sun.

Barely noticeable noise, keeps it pretty cool. Not sure what they did but the pad seems cold to touch and keeps the phone cold. Definitely more than just a fan

i was going to give it a 1 star, but it gave me a months use, and the lights were cool. 10-15 times i used it for a couple hours in this month. i lost my simple black one this same company made and so i figured i’d upgrade to this one, but don’t upgrade it, just go for the simple 20$ all black one. the cord that came with this colorful 35$ one is the only cord that works with it, ive tried longer and heavier duty cords but they dont get it to turn on. the connection port on the cooling devise is loose and only allows the cooler to work if its in a certain position, which isnt ideal. the purple fins inside the outer shell get extremely hot, so playing games on my phone i had to find a new way to have my hands so they wouldn’t burn after a couple minutes. id suggest not buying this if you’re holding your phone with this cooler on. if you’re not holding your phone with the cooler on it, like live streaming or watching movies, id say give it a try.

Works perfectly to keep your phone cool if using your iPhone for face tracking. The mounting hole on the back lets you attach it to a mini desk tripod which is ideal!

Can’t believe how well this worked for me. Used to keep my iPhone 12 mini cool for Pokémon for for 2 years and is still going. Still works but recently got an iPhone 17 and don’t need it at the moment. But if you have a small phone that is thermal throttling this is a great solution. Just grab a power bank if you don’t have one already and want to use it on the go. Has a bypass port for charging but I always just used two cables.
