My mini dachshund is a shorty who will never take naps on the floor. She’ll just rebel and stay awake all day unless we crate her or let her on the couch to sleep. We’re trying to keep her off the couch and wanted something that she could access herself that was safe for her back. Just a bed on the floor hasn’t worked so I bought this bed because it looked really low. It turned out to be exactly what we needed to have her relax and take naps during the day without whining to be let on the couch. I don’t want her to have back problems later so I’m really strict about her climbing things and this bed is no issue.One added bonus is I actually already have a rectangular dog mat that is pretty much the same size as the mattress this bed comes with so I think I could easily change out the mattress part when things get too dirty or padding wears out. I recommend!

Overall well made product with thoughtful design utilizing high quality materials to make for a well made dog bed. Also appreciated the compact minimal packaging when received although that did mean building it up from a few pieces rather than ready to use at arrival but it did not take very long to put together (approx. 20 mins) so not a bad trade off and in my opinion made the bed a bit more sturdier than the beds you find in most stores. It also helped the instructions were very clear with useful colored illustrations to guide you through the process. Highly recommend for owners looking for a minimalist but unique style for their dogs.

I got this dog bed for my new Australian Shepherd puppies so they had a place to lay down when the got tired. It was perfect size, made of good quality materials and would be easy to move around the house from room to room. There was a zippered cover that was easy to remove and the bed seemed very comfortable for the puppies. The mattress was strong and provided nice support and the bed itself look very nice next to the bed. Unfortunately I have puppies and not small older dogs. The puppies grew past 25” and the bed was too small to hold two of them. You know what happen next, the two puppies started taking turns on the bed. One tore up the mattress, the other chewed the pine wood base. If the puppies could have not destroyed the bed and the frame, they might have enjoyed the bed with side walls for support. In the end I had to get rid of the bed as it was not a very puppy friendly product.

We love this dog bed and so does our chihuahua.We did not add the feet to it since it is on our leather couch.The canvas material survives our dog scratching on it.Very durable.Excellent value.Highly recommend.

It's not a bad product, just nothing great. If it weren't for the discounted offer for $69.99 during prime day, it otherwise lists at $89.99 normal price which seems a bit steep for what you get. First off, it does feel durable, but the mattress is kinda on the thin side making it seem like an uncomfortable bed of just hard wood. Secondly, I usually take the time to scroll thru pictures of items that interest me to get a better visual of them and to check for any potential details that might be important. One of the images of this item clearly mentions a weight capacity of up to 50lbs which is how I determined it was sufficient for our dog who also measured within the recommended size range. Now that I'm reviewing, I've noticed that heading of the items listing mentions 24 inches and 25lbs which I feel like I didn't see that bit when I ordered. It's possible I might have overlooked that detail but regardless.. having an image claim the capacity for weight is twice what another claim on the same product is.. to me at least that seems like misinformation. Needless to say the bed arrived far smaller looking than I hoped. I'm not saying it doesn't measure consistent with the dimensional info listed, I'm just saying a dog bed meant to handle up to 25lbs is going to lack the overall look and ability to comfortably support a dog that weighs 41-43lbs. With that said, it does look awkwardly small for our dog, and I had to pad it up with one of his other beds to entice him to use it. Still he rarely chooses to lay on it vs. A futon with another dog bed we setup for him or even his crate which also has a dog bed that we leave open and accessible in his room for him. So while for sleeping, he can fit and use this, the overall experience has convinced me that mostly pets under the 25lb mark are going to be capable of using this comfortably. I'm not saying that no pet above the 25lb but below the 50lb will be able to enjoy this, I'm only informing that potential buyers might want to consider the accuracy of the conflicting weight capacity claims if their pet weighs above 25lbs.. especially so the closer to 50lbs their pet is. Lastly, on a positive note.. it was fairly quick and easy to assemble, and it looks quite nice too. I do think it would get a lot of positive feedback from buyers with the smallest sizes of pets.

Got this not realizing I ordered medium size on accident. Not to worry, I've got a small dog & cat that are perfect size for this bed and they both enjoy laying down on this elevated bed. Also my niece and nephew liked pretending to be puppies or kitties when they visited, so that added some value for me.Assembly took about 20 minutes & was super easy. The only struggle was getting the mattress into the cover which was a tight fit. Nothing crazy, it did fit fine and the way its made didn't require folding it to make it fit like I've had with other dog beds.The mattress looks thin to me, but it's soft. The small dog really enjoys laying on it so that's all that really matters. The fabric is durable and machine washable which is very nice to have.

My cat is spoiled!! This bed is relatively easy to assemble. The bedframe is made of high quality wood and comes with a mattress. It doesn't take up a lot of space and my cat spends all day on that bed. It has a lot of room to spare. He's a 15lb ginger tabby. I think this bed would fit well for small-medium sized cats or dogs. I put him near the foot of my bed so he's close-by and can have his own space. It looks very clean and the exterior of the mattress is a thick fabric material with a cotton interior. It is about 2 inches thick and has some good cushion to it.
