Possibly the best portable knife sharpener out there
If you own a Victorinox or any other knife that you regularly use then this is the one maintainance product that you will absolutely need. Quality and Victorinox are synonymous so it doesn't need anything said about it.It will sharpen just about anything you carry.Holding it can get awkward so do it step by step and don't remove all the plastics at once. It's certainly much better than those 3 step knife sharpeners. Plus the form factor is amazing and super portable enough to keep in your survival pack.It could be cheaper but you're still getting your money's worth considering the performance it offers.

Handy pocket knife sharpener!
Absolutely brilliant. Very easy to use, this knife sharpener works really well, with a few passes. Works great on everything from pocket knives to kitchen knives well worth the money. It's got a nice matte finish and the stone is smooth and works well. Not as good as a full whetstone, but a handy way to sharpen your knife and clean up the edge. The ceramic sharpener is great for cleaning up nicked edges. Dependable works great highly recommended to anyone. Good in a toolbox or in the home. Not the be all, end all sharpener ... but it works!

One of the Best
Compact pocket-size sharpener. Just a tad larger than a common fountain pen. The main compartment encloses a ceramic rod, and under the cap there is a V-shaped slot that's designed for the Victorinox edge. This tool is best for pocket knives, but could be used to sharpen larger blades too. Just a few licks on the ceramic rod and a few strokes through the V-groove will give you a razor-sharp blade. The light weight and compact size allows an easy carry. The design is user-friendly.Been using it for more than a year now and still keeps my blades razor sharp.

Quite small, and looks weak. Not worth the price.
I laughed when I opened this, this is the only product I'm disappointed with which is branded under Victorinox. It is very small, imagine a Lexy pen, multiply it by 2 and you get total thickness of this tool when cover is on. When you take out the caps and see, that sharpening stone is extremely small and seems weak enough to break. The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because it does sharpen the knives quite easily. I even sharpened my non Vic knives and it was okay result..This tool does not warrant price of 1k, it should be in a range of Rs 300-350/- max, and I'm giving this much because of the brand, in reality you could get much bigger and proper size sharpening stones in hardware stores for as little as Rs 100/-

Know the right way of sharpening
Well, if you are purchasing this - you're a fan of quality and perfection. There's absolutely no complaints on the product or packaging. However, in the end this is a tool and you must know how to use it. If you follow the procedure that's shown in Victorinox videos, you can sharpen your Victorinox knives, but many knife makers do not follow that "15-20 degree" rule so you might end up ruining the sharpness like I did for few other makes. Go checkout some videos in Youtube and you will find the best way that fits you. This product is insanely priced so know how to use it and not damage the product.
