Seem to work pretty good cleaning my whetstones. They clean them fairly well without wearing the stones down. Product was as advertised, it arrived on time and in good condition

This medium Nagura abrasive rapidly and safely removes iron swarf left on the stones from knife sharpening. An added benefit is to produce the slurry necessary to provide the sharpening action.This product is also known as "Rust Eraser". I believe medium is the only grit you will need. Great for taking rust off of knives and garden tools. Also works for cleaning metal buildup from Waterstones used for sharpening knives.

Great for whetstone cleaning! I clean a 400/1000/6000 grit stone with these and its great, super fast. It also helped restore some very old carbon steel knives I had. Be careful on polished stainless though, you will leave a scratch pattern. When using this to remove rust try on a small area first to make sure you are not going to make your problem worse.
