These are my observations & feedback:+ the build quality is robust. It's stable, extra wide, and sturdy.+ looks are premium and decent.+ it is just right to do the job, when you adjust the chair height correctly, there is little stress you get on you back side of thigh. This stand comes to a rescue and gives you the missing comfort. After using it, my posture has improved and I feel my back less stressed after long sittings.+ i liked the Free-floating platform, which can tilt back and forth for leg stretches+ the textured surface acts as an acupressure board, gives massaging effect.+ the price initially looked high to me (I got this for INR 1399), but when I compared it with other options available (most of which are imported) found it the cheapest!- you can't adjust the height, but adding those features will make it costlier.Tip: based on my various experiments and readings, the perfect height for chair is - if you stand near it, your lower knee cap should touch the top level of the seat.Overall, a highly recommended product for anyone who spends long time using computer or any other desk job.Pictures posted for reference. I hope this helps.Should you need any further information, do leave a comment below, I'll definitely try to get back. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well built product with a few drawbacks. *by A***A on 25 May 2019* This foot rest by AmazonBasics is a pretty clever product. I sit at a desk that has nothing but metal rods to rest my feet on; initially it isn’t bad, but after a while the rod starts digging into the soles of my feet which is why I ordered this foot rest. It does offer a decent relief and the raised pattern feels soothing. The frame is made of metal but the surface of the foot rest is hard plastic, which doesnt feel like it will break easily. The raised pattern, where the feet naturally rest is made of rubber. Overall, I am confident that this footrest is going to stand the test of time. One problem I faced with it, was that the surface area was smallish for me, I would prefer larger size option. Also, the swivel hinge is easily moved, so basically there is no way you can fix the angle of the foot rest, even if you try to tighten the screws. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ worth trying if you are not happy with your chair/seating experience *by V***V on 5 June 2018* I find it useful, having used it for few weeks now. Before writing this review I tried removing it to see how it feels sitting on the chair without it, but then I had to put it back immediately. Basically it supports the foot/leg weight thereby relieving pressure which would transfer to thighs or lower back. And it allows to recline a bit on chair comfortably. My chair has rather deep seat depth but feels a bit constraining at lower back area, and it doesn't have a recline setting which can be locked. Having this footrest makes it ok.I can't keep both feet on it though comfortably, I am 5'11" and it's not that wide - 15" only. So I keep one foot on it and the other on floor, and keep alternating the foot every half hour or so after moving the footrest below left or right foot.
