Perfect for less than perfect... block prep.
Worked great... even on less than perfect heads/block. I was a little nervous with a rough cleaning of the block/heads. Removing the bigger 'chunks' of old gasket, but in a hurry admittedly. These clamped down and held great. I did run some brake clean on a rag around the block and heads.

The picture is of my old gasket, original gm. I needed to replace the head gaskets in my 2007 tahoe, with nearly 250k miles in it one of them was creating a leak and I was getting low oil pressure. It had been over a month and everything works great, oil pressure is up as new and no more leaks.
