Bought these for my wife for Christmas and she loves them... even more than the £130 camera tripod that I also bought her! Perfect for landscape photographers on cold days!

Thumb doesn't actually close
These gloves are horrid. The feel really clumsy and there is no overlap where the fold back slits are. The thumbs don't even close correctly. I bought these to be a second pair to my existing fold back mittens I use for walking my dog as they are twice the price and often unavailable. Having seen these, I will return them and stock up on the other mittens while they are available. They are perfect. These are nasty, fit badly (the fingers are only just long enough but they rest of the glove is baggy including the fingers), smell weird and look incredibly ugly - like gardening gloves Really not what I wanted at all.
