XOP Air Raid Evolution Hang-On Stand

I am very pleased with this hang on. It is nice and light, and easy to carry a long distance. I hunt a lot of state land so I walk about 2.5 miles back and it is nice having a light stand! Love the big platform. I wear size 13 boot and still have room. Simple and easy to hang on the trees. The seat is nice and comfortable and quiet when you lift it up. I will be making another order for a few more! I totally recommend this!

I would like to start out by saying that I love the comfort and security of this stand. The seat is very comfortable and for someone like myself who has a hard time sitting still for long periods of time due to a bad knee really appreciates the flip over seat with cushion to stand and lean against. It's a great option to have while in the tree to maintain that comfort level while stretching out your legs. The seat cushion itself is also comfortable for me as well and I'm at 200 lbs. I'm a fan of the thicker style pads myself like the one on the Air Raid.Secondly I like the 6 point bat wing for the possibility of more contact points touching the tree depending on the shape if it. It leaves me with a good peace of mind knowing that. As I work my way down the stand I love the casted center beam. It's rock solid with zero noise possibilities as far as I can tell. It also gives the stand that overall complete look to it and that it didn't cut any corners when manufacturing or designing the stand. The adjustable seat angle and platform are also a nice touch compared to some others I have that don't have that feature. It opens up a lot more possibilities of the trees I can be hanging in. Also the platform adjustment mechanism is easy to use with gloves on and feels secure when tightened into one of the four possible positions. The platform itself feels rock solid with very little to no bounce in it all all when setup. The raised traction on top is a nice touch too for those dewey mornings. Overall I would and I will be recommending this stand to anybody in the market for one. I personally like the features of this stand over my Lone Wolf. And for the price difference between the two leaves a lot more finances to be spent on other hunting items as well :)

I will start by saying that I haven’t hunted out of this stand due to an injury. With that said the stand appears to be built of quality parts. For hanging it at the bottom of a tree at home I found it easy and light to handle while hanging it. Once in the stand I noticed that the seat squeaked a little with the adjustment screw (easily fixed with some tape). The seat was comfortable to sit in and the adjustment of it and the platform make this stand able to fit in almost any tree. The stand off bracket makes the stand fit even more trees. The back pack straps were adequate but will need to be upgraded for long walks in. An updated review will be provided once I can get back in the woods but based on what I’m seeing this stand will work perfectly and then some.

The media could not be loaded.  This stand is great. It’s light at like 12lbs. Set up is easy and the cushion is really comfortable. It is really easy to adjust. I think that XOP hit it out of the park with this on. The only thing I would add is a pocket to the seat to hold the straps

I have not yet hunted out of this stand since the season hasn't started yet but I have hung it in a tree and sat in it for 3 plus hours and did some archery practice as well. It is small and lite. That said, I do not feel that it is too small and I can stand and shoot without thinking about where the edge of the platform is. This was an initial concern of mine given its size but it proved to be a non-issue. I have another hangout as well and have used it for several years and really like it. This little guy promises more mobility and ease of carry. XOP is really setting the bar for hangout on stands with this stand! XOP makes a great stand and this one is a winner in my book. By the way, I have to commend XOP on their fast shipping. I ordered this on a Thursday afternoon and it was here Saturday morning. Keep up the great work XOP. The seat that comes with the XOP stand is extremely padded/thick for long sits, this seat would be crucial! The lightweight of the hang on is perfect for an old time hunter or if this is your first year hunting....very versatile! 100% would recommend!

Where do I start? The ordering was very easy and actually showed up 4 days early! It was delivered in the box shown in the picture. It came with 3 bags and the stand, which was already put together. Bag 1 was the seat cushion, bag 2 was the safety harness, and bag 3 was the straps and instructional dvd. The cast aluminum design makes it super lightweight and comes with backpack straps for easy carry into the woods. I didn’t weigh it but I would guess that it’s less than 20lbs. The cushion is a nice touch as well, it’s very comfortable and easy to switch sides for pack in and out. The platform has tread built into it to keep from slipping. I really liked how the straps that hold it to the tree has loops on the ends. It was really easy to hang on the tree. It also came with a full harness and climbing strap too. All the parts were clearly labeled for anyone new to wearing one. Overall, the lightweight, easy to hang, and the comfort of this stand really impressed me. I’ll be recommending it to friends and family.

I have been looking for a good treestand that can hold a large creature like me. At 6'4" and 320 pounds, my options are limited. Aparently the hunting world thinks big hunters dont like to climb trees.... well haus, you're wrong. Finally I came across this tree stand. The weight rating and foot platform seemed right in my wheelhouse. I took a chance and bout the stand, and climbing sticks. I am super happy with this stand. Its rock solid enough to hold a big critter like me, and yet light enough to hump overland for a few miles to my hunting spot. Outstanding product. If you're a big hunter, and ain't afraid to climb trees to achieve your kill... this is the stand for you.
