Durable and Great Fun
This is a durable toy and my dog just loves it! It is big enough that it won't get caught in her throat but she can still chew it and also loves to pounce on it. She likes that it squeaks and I like that the squeak is not obnoxiously loud. We have had it for a month and although she is a strong-jawed pit, she has not been able to damage or destroy it.

Get your indestructible ball NOW
Best dog ball you can ever buy. These things are quite bouncy but your dogs will love them especially since they are indestructible. The squeaker will go out based on how hard the dog chews but the ball itself will last literally forever for those hard chewing dogs. Don’t think twice.

Loved the strobe, but the first broke in a couple of hours. Later balls broke even faster.
Having adored other Orbee-Tuff balls with a previous dog (ATTN: Bring back the Luna and Sol balls. PLEASE!), I decided to give the strobe and squeak balls a whirl. This low rating is for the strobe balls only. My dog and I both loved the strobe balls. He enthusiastically chased the flashing balls, scampering and sliding after them with a bit more enthusiasm than with most balls.Unfortunately, the housing for the light/batteries just doesn't last. It quickly comes loose inside the ball and then can pop out of the ball when it bounces. At first, I thought it was a fluke, especially as it took some work to get the light back inside the ball. Yet it happened over and over again and then with multiple balls. Also, where the light is initially attached is a soft spot on the ball. If you have a dog that's a chewer, they will find that spot and tear a hole in the ball. That makes it impossible to "repair" the ball any more even if the light is still working. Of course, many chewers would attack the light housing as soon as it pops out of the ball, which is a huge reason why I have to give such an adorable and otherwise well made ball such a low score. Ultimately, it's not safe. Consider the squeak balls instead. The squeak doesn't last, but the balls have for us. We won't buy more strobe balls unless there's a redesign. In the picture, you can see where the purple and green strobe balls were chewed at the soft spot. In the green, you can see through to the manufactured hole on the other side of the ball (that's where the light piece would pop out). The chewed piece under the green ball is the plastic that surrounds the light and batteries inside the ball. Compare to the yellow "Squeak" ball that's still intact 4 months later, even if the squeaker doesn't work.

The squeak might die the ball does not.
If you want to cut to the chase YES THIS PRODUCT WORKS, if you want more details then continue reading. So for starters, we have a 75 pound Doberman whom we call "The Destroyer of All Things". Anything she can tear into (toy wise) she will dismantle in a matter of minutes. It's been very frustrating trying to find toys that will last long enough to occupy her playtime without us feeling like we may as just hand her money to shred up and throw in the garbage.I will say that my dog, however, is also a "picky" destroyer and will not simply chew and destroy and play with just any toy. I bought her a solid hard rubber ball once that weighed a ton and because it was so stiff and had zero give and was actually indestructible (to her standers) but, she played with it for a matter of 30 seconds before never touching it again. If it's too solid and indestructible she gets no satisfaction from it and won't play with it, which is also a waste of money since it's been sitting at the bottom of her toy bin ever since. So trying to find a toy that is a balance of fun for her and durable for our pockets was a hard task, until now.My husband somehow stumbled upon this ball and hopeful from all the glowing reviews (but still skeptical so we wouldn't be disappointed if it didn't work) we ordered it immediately. We have NOT been disappointed thus far and she's had it for a month!! Just like some reviews have said, the squeak did not last long, but that wasn't surprising. Our dog's favorite toys used to be the yellow tennis style kong balls and she'd have the squeak killed in a matter of seconds until it only wheezed and then she'd tear up the ball itself. Which is why we needed to find a replacement that she could shred into tiny rubber pieces all over my floor. This ball really truly was not annoying when is squeaked, until the piercing shrieking noise the Kong tennis balls made this one was pretty chill on the noise level and I didn't mind it at all while it worked. If the squeaker hadn't died I wouldn't have been driven up the wall with the noise and bonus my dog still loved it either way. But, the squeak didn't last long, maybe a few minutes at most. However, I continued and continue to monitor this ball for any other signs of defeat and have yet to find ANY. Not a tooth mark, not a nick, nothing, nada, ZILCH. This ball is soft enough that it has some give when she chomps down on it, but it's durable enough to bounce back and not snap or crack or break under pressure. The give my dog gets from chewing on it keeps her attention because I think it gives her some false sense of hope that she might still be able to destroy it. So even after a month, she's not lost interest. Also, even though the squeak has died when she chomps down on the ball it sort of makes a clicking/suctioning noise which also makes her very happy to play with it. She loves it when we toss it down the hallway because of the softer rubber it has a rather unpredictable bounce and so she never quite knows where it's going to go.Highly recommended and I cannot wait to test out other products from this brand and buy her a couple of more balls to have around the house in replacement to her old Kong balls.

Unsafe tag attachment
I reordered this ball since previous one had been favorite and lasted 3 years but now lost.Only problem was packaging tag with plastic tab tags attached. When I cut off the tag from the ball, small plastic pieces were caught inside the ball through top hole. There was also a piece of plastic that was sticking up from inside to outside surface of the ball that could have caused mouth injury or ingestion of plastic.I had to work out the small pieces of plastic out of the squeaker hole. There needs to be a different way to tag the item

My Dog's Favorite Toy
My dog absolutely LOVES these squeak balls. He loves to chase them and then just chew on them like they're a big piece of gum. He's only allowed to play with it outside under supervision, so when he gets it, he'll play fetch for a little while and then wants to just lay in the grass and chew on the ball. Or just lay there with the ball in his mouth. It's like a comfort thing to him.We do have to order a new ball every few months or so, though, because he chews through them eventually. And I have to get the squeaker out when it starts to crack open like an egg. But then he can still chew on the severed ball for awhile until it splits in half. Then it's time for a new one.The ball makes him so incredibly happy, and if there's two balls in his toy basket, he always has a favorite and knows which one it is. But he has no problem moving on to a new one once the preferred one gets tossed away.
