I took the piece out from the old mailbox flag and inserted it into the new one. I couldn’t do much about the dent. Original review: I’m really glad that I bought this mail box. It’s really sturdy and it’s big. The lid closes tightly and it’s secure. It does come with a spare key but you’ll probably have to make extras as a just in case.
