XMONDO Color Amber Mask – Semi-Permanent Red Dye with Bond Booster & Hyaluronic Acid, 8 oz

So, it's been a couple of days since I used the Amethyst and Super Blue. I did not bleach my hair at all for this and I have med-dark hair. I've never done anything other than Loreal single color hair color every few years on a whim. 1. Super easy to apply with no foils. I just grabbed locks of hair and colored them one or the other color. They kept separate really well and I haven't noticed any transfer from it. 2. I noticed NO significant odor. Usually I have to do this outside (when using other products) because the odor is really overwhelming. I did this in my bathroom and had zero issues. 3. It turned out GREAT. I was fully expecting the blue to be drowned out by the darker areas, but nope. It's noticeably blue. 4. It rinsed well, but there is some bleeding. HOWEVER, let me repeat that I'm not experienced at this and this could be user error. I've never done this before because of feeling overwhelmed and ignorant. These products are the only reason I tried to do this. I am VERY happy with the results and it's amazing how someone as inexperienced as me can make a plan and then execute that plan completely on my own and it is a great success. I do not feel I could have achieved this using your typical store dyes. My hair feels great and looks AMAZING.

Love! This is a great product to help a red / berry color last a little longer between salon visits. Smells beautiful, and leaves hair soft. You can use it on dry hair to deposit intense color, or instead of conditioner. Honestly its super versatile.

I have been a purple/red haired girl for decades. I used to use a vegan wash out and would bounce between colors but throughout the years, switched over to Henna. I recently did my natural Henna for the red and while it looked pretty as you can see in the before photo, it was, for the first time, super dry like straw. I think maybe I left it in a little too long this time. So.... I found this stuff. let me tell you, it's beautiful. It went in smooth like butter and my hair is currently so soft and silky. I'm really in love with it and hoping it will continue to repair my hair as well as last longer being a semi permanent. I do have waist length hair so I did need to use about half the jar. My greys are a lighter purple and there is red streaks that have been darkened and some not like some didn't take the color as well but it gives it a nice effect. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is this stuff stains everything. My shower looks like a hospital room surgery table and even though I wore gloves to wash it out, it stained my hands and my entire body. I had to shower 3 separate times in a row, scrubbing myself for about a half hour each time and did need to use shampoo to get enough of it out of my hair to run clear. Huge mess. Worth it? Yes. But it is seriously going to stain everything it touches so be super careful how and where you apply and rinse this stuff.

So easy to not make a mess with. Saturation is beautiful coloring is beautiful wash out was so easy doesn’t smell chemically. So simple to wash out and I could do my whole head multiple times color has yet to fade after about a month and multiple hot baths. Get the dye.

The color was okay and the 20min process was great. Rinsing it out was quite easy and no staining, but sadly the color was a bit patchy on some spots.

I want to preface this review by saying that I did not lighten my hair before using this product, so I probably did not get the absolute best results that I could have gotten. Pro's: - The hair color doesn't stain as much as other hair colors do, so the clean up was much more manageable. - I am not finding that the hair color is coming out on my pillow which I have found to be the case with the usual color that I use. Cons - For me personally, the smell of the product is overwhelming. I also did not find the smell to be pleasing. It smelled of cheap cologne. - In my opinion, the actual formula itself does not have much coverage. I found that I needed to reapply to the same spots more often than other formulas that I have used. - It really bothered my skin. Even though I had the actually color on my skin for a very limited amount of time, my skin started getting really irritated even hours after I had washed the color off. - The actually container itself looks and feels really cheap. - The formula really feels like you are putting straight up chemicals in your hair. I also did not find that the formula made my hair feel nice or hydrated afterwards. I am a fan of Brad, but I think that this product is really overpriced for what it is. I didn't enjoy applying it, the smell gave me a headache, and the formula just felt yucky overall. I also dislike how this brand doesn't display their cruelty free logo on the product. I definitely will not be purchasing this product again.

I’ll update when I wash, i absolutely love the color super vibrant! My only complaint is the smell is not my favorite (definitely not that yummy grape smell of arctic fox) but it’s also not horrible like box dyes. I’ve used many purple dyes and so far I’m a fan! Update: it fades pink after just 3 washes, going to try and mix it with blue for a better fade out also going to be changing my shampoo, I was using Paul Mitchel but it’s definitely pulling the color out even in cold water. Now I do still think the color is beautiful but I wasn’t wanting pink

The color is vibrant and looks beautiful. I even colored my clip in extensions too and they look like they are reborn 🥰🥰

do not recommend. I have prelightened hair, and other than making your hair softer, the color doesn't stick. I figured for the price it would be a beautiful solid green, instead i got patchy random color and no color at all in some spots. Not worth the price for sure. Will not buy again.
