For starters, this is a great pipe and well worth the money. It smokes quite nicely, and came with a plethora of useful accessories, including two leather bound pipe tools. Fittingly, I received this churchwarden pipe on March 25, 2023; Tolkien Reading Day.On March 23, I received a visibly open and empty package, which the driver delivered and photographed, and my review was as follows:"I hope this product is great, but the incompetent driver delivered an obviously open and empty package! If I could give this transaction zero stars, I would. I only made this purchase because I received a gift card from a family member. Otherwise, I would have purchased an inexpensive churchwarden pipe from the tobacco show down the road.Amazon is sending a replacement that is supposed to arrive in two days. They should have overnighted it free of charge, but as long as it actually shows up, I'll be satisfied with the customer service.If it actually shows up, I will review the product."It showed up and my review is in. This is a great pipe! Highly recommend, and props to Amazon for resolving the problem with haste.

I was expecting this pipe to be poor quality, based off the price. I was wrong. It came from China a month earlier than expected, during this COVID-19 shutdown, and the craftsmanship is better than some $100 pipes. Rosewood was an interesting choice, and seems to smoke just as well as my briar. The 9mm filters fit more snugly in this pipe than they do my expensive briar as well, ensuring I don't have juice and smoke traveling around the filter. I also love the large bowl which affords a longer smoke, and therefore, more time to play around and get the optimum burn for whatever tobacco I'm smoking. Buy this pipe, you won't be disappointed.

In my previous post I was concerned that the items listed were not received in the pack. After opening the package and checking the pipe and stem's I used a Caliper to measure the inside opening of the stem. It measured 8.4 millimeters, mm. Today I tried a 9 mm pipe filter and it works perfectly. Also before the first smoke, I treated the inside of the bowl with a light coating of Honey. This will help with the seasoning of the pipe. So far I am very pleased with this pipe. Stays lit to the last bit of tobacco in the bottom of the bowl.

Pipe Burns through in the part where the wood meets the plastic stand, the whole that was drilled was too close to the surface of the wood.

Looks sharp and the bowl stays cool. I like that it comes with two stems, a long one and a short one. The all-in-one pipe tool/stand is a bonus!

As a new piper, I have a very limited set of experiences, and quite a limited budget for experimenting so I saw this set and immediately became enamored. My first pipe was the cheap Whitlock set I have yet to review, and while the pipe in that was ok, the stand left A LOT to be desired as it wouldn't hold my pipe stably at all. So when I saw the tool/pipe holder I thought it would be a step up, and wow, was it. For a traveling piper, this little gadget is the bees knees.Also, I've been long enchanted with the churchwarden style pipe, thus thought this would be an affordable introduction with expectations of adequate but compromised quality. Again, I was delightfully impressed with the feel of this pipe and its almost perfect sized bowl for my occasional indulgences.I hope to graduate to more classic brands eventually once I find my stride, but for now, this affordable set was a serious improvement to my piping journey.UPDATE: After a few days of use, I ran into a problem with this pipe. The churchwarden stem is ever so slightly missized for 9mm filters. I have two different brandsof filter, and while one will fit snugly, it jams and tears upon removal requiring a fishing expedition with tweezers and a pipe cleaner to remove the stuck cap, and the other brand won't even fit inside at all. Perhaps it's not intended to be used with a filter at all, but that diminishes my enjoyment significantly. I'll still use the pipe and fish out the filter pieces as necessary until I can find a suitable replacement for this pipe and/or stem. Disappointed to say the least, as it smokes very very well otherwise.

I'm perplexed why some pipes are hundreds of dollars, and others like this one are around $20, and when I smoke them, I don't notice any difference. This one smokes just as good as any expensive pipe I've ever used. It's also easy to clean and looks sharp. I sometimes switch between the "grandpa" and the "Gandalf" mouth pieces (my personal terms for the styles), and never have had any issues. These are just as good as the hoity-toity expensive (aka "snob") pipes out there - highly recommend.

This smoker captivates you at first glance. Then when you pick it up, the weight of it confirms that you have a quality piece. It is perfectly smooth and cool to the touch. It has been made with care, polished to a gloss and is pleasing to look at. It was ready to use, and I was able to taste my product purely without any other flavors. I have absolutely no complaints. Thank you for the stand with tools and the screens, which I had never seen or used before. I am happy and mostly happy with the long long stylish stem, which give me a sweet cool smoke and I look good when I use it. There is also a second shorter stem in the kit, if you wish to alternate. I am happy with my new friend. She's mine!

It's a great pipe

Smokes funky, weird smell / taste on the smoke from this pipe. Also, too much space for the filter, so you feel and hear the filter bounce inside the pipe as you draw and blow.

Feels fairly cheap and gets hot easily during a smoke. But what are you really expecting out of a pipe off Amazon? I love the inclusion of the two different stem attachments! Pipe tool’s pretty nice too
