A Really Fantastic Set
Ever since I watched Thor Ragnarok I had hoped Lego would release a constraction figure of Surtur. Now they finally did! I will admit what I had in mind was a little bit larger, but this is pretty great. I was worried about how the head would look at first, but Surtur's crown works surprisingly well in person. Really the set only has three significant flaws. Surtur has no knees because he uses the SCCBS limb pieces for his legs. I think that part looks good, but they really should have designed it in a way where it had a ratcheting joint. Why they didn't is way beyond me. As a result, any figure that uses the piece has less articulation. It honestly remind me of the limb pieces used for the villager builds near the tail end of Generation one Bionicle. The next flaw has to do with the Thor minifigure. He uses the head print for Fat Thor from Endgame, which doesn't really feel appropriate for the time period. Fortunately I have a Thor minifigure from the first wave of Endgame that has an equally inappropriate head that would be perfect for this Thor. The biggest issue is that instructions don't show how to put Surtur's crown on Thor's back. I think the value of the set is pretty good for what it is, and if you are a fan of the MCU, you'll definitely enjoy it (especially if you are also a Bionicle fan). The set didn't have any missing pieces, although I do wish it came with extra skeleton limbs for the Fire Demons.

Thor vs Surtur
This is one of my favorite Marvel Studio battles in Lego form. Lego did this moment a lot of justice.

Less Than an Hour
My youngest Grandson has ADHD, and is into certain LEGO kits. He asked for this kit for Christmas. He was very pleased to get this kit, and completed assembling it in about 20 minutes. It looks just like the picture, and makes a wonderful addition to his growing collection.
