Roswell Pizza Rig - Fits Large Big Green Egg

Very cool! Thought it wasn't going to fit at first. The plate setter leg, and one leg of the rig have to be dead center in the back, the back leg of the rig should touch the back of the egg. Then the lid will close all the way! Positioned this way the pizza peel slides right through the front two legs, and the back leg in the center help keep the pizza from sliding backwards while pulling! Great little rig!

I'm sure it would work if it fit inside my BGE. Also, no way a 12 inch pizza peel fits between those legs. My 12 inch pans don't fit. Stones fit fine and it came quicker than I expected, but I can't give any more of a review since I can't even close my Large BGE with it inside. The only way it will close is if the plate setter and grate are out of the BGE and the legs rest in the spots the plate setter legs go. That would make the bottom stone WAY too hot...and even so...if I put a pan on top stone, the lid no longer closes. *shrug*

we just tried to put our 2 brand new 14" pizza stones on this thing and 1) the space for the bottom does not hold a 14" stone and (the best part) 2) taking our stone out this stand scratched and chipped the stone.either we were sent the wrong part or this is just junk and nobody should buyprocessing return next...i think this company should replace our now chipped stone but not going to hold my breathi had to select 1 start to be able to submit but it's not even worth 1 star

Shame on me for not clearly reading the stones weren't included versus:1) Seeing the only picture showing the product with two stones2) Reading "uses two standard 14" cooking stones" instead of it saying it "works with". Supposedly, it "uses" 12" as well, so why mislead with only mentioning 14"??3) Not reading the one review which accurately states - it doesn't fit in a BGE in a usable fashionAvoid.
