AmazonBasics Ventilated Laptop Stand (Black)

It's built good. I bought in 2018 for my gaming laptop. Isn't that heavy so you can put it on your lap. Playing racing games or even FPS having this on your lap, you won't feel the heat or it's weight.Just make sure to not lift it with one hand in the center of the base with your laptop on it. I've been doing so for long and one of the hings broke due to that. Putting Fevikwik gel has been working fine. I took these pictures when I fixed it for the second time in the fifth year of it's usage.Overall it has been one of my best purchases on Amazon so far. ❤️

Very sturdy. Does its job well. The two metal strips at the bottom edge for support do dig into your wrist a little but I got used to them after a while.

I wanted a stand that could reduce the heat generated by my laptop. This does that up to an extent. It can't beat the stands with fans and neither is this something you can use on your lap or bed.It needs to be seated on a sturdy surface. I use it on my desk.The ability to increase the height of the laptop with its stand helps with my line of vision. The laptop support hinges have a decent rubber foam that's neither very soft nor hard.The top is sturdy enough to support the laptop and is generally sturdy. However, it's mildly wobbly. The bottom part of the stand is well seated and doesn't wobble. It's only the mesh that stands up. I felt this when I rested my palms on my laptop to type.For the cost point, it's a decent stand.

This product punches well above its price tag! That is the first thing I want to highlight. It is sturdy, and the weight is just about right. The tilt of the laptop when kept on top of this is ergonomic. The materials that are used to build this are good; it will last for a long time without a doubt. I had no idea that AmazonBasics products are this good! The delivery was also super-fast! I became a fan of AmazonBasics products after buying this!

The overall quality is good in this price range , but some of the fit an finish is not up to the mark or standard! But it does the job what it made for , I mean the airflow for ur laptop is excellent u will not have complaints on this part.I would suggest go for it.

If you are the type of guy that uses laptop frequently on a bed (especially if you play games) use a stand. Because just like you get suffocated when someone puts a pillow on your face, your laptop too would get suffocated as most of laptops have the intake and outlet vents below. Now let's get to the point as to why this in particular is good and bad.Pros:1. It is sturdy.2. It has 8 levels for height adjustments hence good viewing angle.3. It has got a cable organiser which is handy.4. It is heavy ( it's a double edged sword I agree) so it stays put on the surface.Cons:1. It is made completely out of metal, hence rust issues (no pun intended)2. Storage or portability is a big concern as it is big and heavy (coming back to the point of it being a double edged sword) as there are other smaller ventilation stands.

This is a great basic, sturdy, adjustable, breathable laptop stand. I've purchased two of these--one for me a few years ago, and then another for my father. When I recently went to purchase one to use at work, the Amazon version was not available. I settled for a smaller version from some other unknown brand that looked similar, but definitely did not compare for sturdiness or overall quality.

Per i nuovi modelli dim PC regge abbastanza bene, ma i vecchi modellli che sono più spessi, regge poco. Non è adattom atutti i PC, nonoistante dovrebbe essere migliore di quelli con solo due stecche.

J'ai commandé ce support pour l'utilisation d'un ordinateur portable de plus de 17 pouces.Durant le confinement, l'utilisation de l'ordinateur sur les genoux n'était pas terrible.Ca chauffe parfois fortement, et ca manque de ventilation.J'ai testé un dessous de plats en verre trempé : ca chauffe à travers la plaque et c'est lourd et inconfortable.De plus l'espace entre le dessus de la plaque et le dessous de l'ordinateur n'était pas très grand (1 à 2 mm).Du coup, après beaucoup d'hésitations entre ce support et un support avec ventilateur, beaucoup plus cher, je me suis finalement arrêté sur ce modèle "ventilé"En fait c'est excellent !Mon 17 pouces déborde de 4/5 cm sur les cotés gauche et droit, mais pas dans le sens de la largeur.La stabilité est excellente, et la finition aussi.C'est vraiment solide.Des pieds en mousse de 3 mm en dessous empêchent les déplacements non souhaités lorsque le support est posé sur une table ou un bureau.Les deux butées en façade empêchent l'ordinateur de descendre, car il n'y a pas de patins en mousse sur le dessus du plateau.J'ai "customisé" le tout en rajoutant des morceaux de caoutchouc souple, avec du scotch double face pour adapter spécifiquement aux dimensions de mon portable (écran dont le système de charnière fait basculer le bas de l'écran derrière le portable, et non sur le dessus).J'en ai mis sur le plateau, car les patins d'origine ne sont pas assez épais : ça facilite encore un peu plus la circulation d'air sous l'ordinateur, et ça le surélève encore un peu plus par rapport à la hauteur des butées en façade.J'en ai mis aussi sur les deux butées en façade, pour repousser l'ordinateur en arrière (rapport aux charnières d'écran).Pour couronner le tout, il me semble que l'on peut très facilement placer un ventilateur branchable en USB en dessous, il en existe de très silencieux et économes en énergie, tels les Noctua ou Be Quiet.Sincèrement, je suis extrêmement satisfait, je l'attendais avec impatience.Génial !

Passt genau für einen 15,6 Zoll Laptop. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut (keine Gräten etc.). Man bekommt von anderen Herstellern deutlich schlechte Produkte angeboten. Das Produkt entspricht in meiner Lieferung den Bildern zu 100 %.Die unteren Metallkanten, die den Laptop im geneigten Zustand stützen sind mit einer dünnen Polsterung auf der Innenseite überzogen (Filzsticker), sodass kein Kratzer durch das Metal an den Laptop kommt. Die Sticker sind nicht sehr dick, erfüllen ihren Zweck und sind kaum auffällig (schwarz). Bisher machte diese keine Anstallten abzugehen. Die Zeit wird zeigen, wie lange diese halten. Zur Not werden diese irgendwann durch Neue ersetzt.Der Neigungswinkel ist relativ hoch auf der fordersten (höchsten) Stufe. Hier kommt es auf das Schanier des Laptops an, wie weit man dieses nach hinten überklappen kann. Der Ständer selber bringt ca. 4-5 cm Höhe (was nicht negativ, sondern angenehm ist aus meiner Sicht) + die Stufe die man einstellen möchte. Leute die groß (1,90 - 2,00m+) sind und viel am Schreibtisch Zeit verbringen müssen / dürfen, sind hier gut aufgehoben. Es gibt mehrere Stufen, sodass man es seiner Körpergroße enstsprechend einstellen kann und den Laptopbildschrim auf die indviduelle Höhne bringen kann (der Rücken freut sich).Positiv ist auch das Gitter, welches als Auflagefläche für den Laptop dient. der Laptop bekommt eine deutlich besser Belüftung von unten. Das Gitter ist sehr stabil und genug und durch die Unterkonstruktion verstärkt - wackelt und wabert nichts. Für einen Laptopständer herovorragend. Lässt sich auch als Buchstütze für schwere und große Bücher, als Notenständer (je nach Instrument und möglicher Entfernung zum Tisch) oder Tabletstütze nutzen.Das Material ist durchgängig Metal, sodass man bei normalen Gebrauch von einer jahrelangen Nutzung ausgehen kann.An dieser Stelle:Ein Lüfter ist ein Verschleißteil und wird so lange nicht leben, wer Wert auf einen Lüfter legt, kauft ihn nach und befestigt ihn selbst mit Kabelbindern oder ähnlichem. Ein 60x60 könnte zwischen dei beiden Streben in mittig auf der Rückseite des Gitters passen (80x80 bei teilweiser Abdeckung druch die Streben). Da dieser dann aber Platz in der Tiefe braucht, wird der Ständer sich nicht mehr auf Postion 0 (+1 und evtl. 2 ) stellen lassen können, da der Lüfter dann im Weg ist. Wer auf die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten verzichten kann, kann also hier anpassen. Der Aufwand würde sich angesichts der Qualität lohnen. Ich brauch das nicht, habe es daher auch nicht ausprobiert und daher auch keine Zusagen an dieser Stelle (Eindruck / spekulativ). VIelleicht dazu jemand der es ausprobiert hat....Da es kein Plastig ist, ist das Gewicht etwas erhöt. Das aber auch nur wenn man pingelich ist. Durch Versteifungen wurde deutlich Material und daher Gewicht eingespart - also leichter als man meint. Der Ständer ist für den Einsatz am Arbeitsplatz ausgelegt und steht daher auf dem Schreibtisch. Der wird damit bequem fertig...Der Ständer ist schwarz. Wer es individueller mag (ich weiß nicht ob es mal andere Farben geben wird, aber wozu auch, wenn Preis und Leistung stimmen) kann den Lack ja anrauen und umlackieren, was bei Metall kein Problem darstellen sollte. Auf die Gewährleistungs- und Garantiebestimmungen sei dabei aber hingewiesen. Je nach anzuwendendem Recht und Rechtslage (landes-, rechts- und sachlagenabhängig) können diese durch Anpassungen erlöschen. Daher auf eigene Gefahr.Fazit: Sehr gutes Produkt mit einem sehr guten Preisleistungverhältnis. Daher bitte niemals was ändern! Wer mehr möchte kann ihn sich ja individuell anpassen, oder es kommen Abwandlungen auf den Markt. Bei dem Preis ist alles andere Mäckern auf hohem Niveau.
