I thought I was missing them until I lifted the heavy part up. For the shelfs, make sure you leave the brackets loose until you actually install them. You will need to adjust the barkets. Other then that, on this 6 burner I got, the griddle is already to go. Just heat it up. I used a beer and onion to clean it. There is NO, pre-seasoning needed for this one. FYI don't season with olive oil... the grill has leveling nuts. It's important to get this thing level. It causes the heat to escape one direction making the grill hotter in that direction. The first batch if burritos I was way too hot.. so far everything I needed to cook has been on the lowest setting. The build quality is great. The wing shelves are a little on the light side. Would have likes to see them heavier. That being said the package that was delivered was very heavy. So I understand the shipping weight thing. Grease catch is well placed and integrated on the left of the grill. That side Is a little further from the heating element. A great place to put a warming rack. A lid would be nice. I bought a separate weather cover.
