Impressive performance from this adjustable corner clamp.
The MaxxGeek corner clamp is well-made with a rubber handle that securely tightens the clamp on equal or varying-sized materials, with a pivoting mechanism that allows equal pressure on each side. Operation is smooth and slight adjustments can be made by releasing the clamp slightly, yet still gripping the material. The performance of the clamp is unquestionably good, but I deduct one star for the uneven finish on the baseplate. It may not make much of a difference in terms of maintaining the right angles or levels for the material being clamped, but it is a casting or finishing flaw that should have been picked up by QC.Regardless, for the price and functionality of the tool, I'm happy with its performance and usefulness for many projects.

Works so good you might want to buy more
This MaxxGeek Right Angle Woodworking Clamp, With Adjustable Aluminum Alloy Swing Jaw Clamp works great, so much in fact that you might want to get yourself a pair of them. If you are gluing various wood pieces together, this is definitely something you are going to need. It does a great job of lining up the wood prior to gluing. It has a swinging jaw design which helps if your pieces are not exactly the same size, but will still maintain the 90 degree angle. I find myself using this all the time while I've been building some cabinets for my home. I really like the action of the mechanisms and I bought myself a few more. Overall I'd highly recommend this!

Nice design idea!
Sturdy and engineered to clamp different size pieces at a 90 degree angle with a smart floating pivot design, It really works well. The listing shows a number of photos of that but seems to leave out (and it may be obvious) that it works well for mitered pieces as well, so I added a photo. The only thing that would make this better is a quick release button so you could get the clamp in place faster for very big or very small pieces.Nicely done MaxxGeek!

Clamps Well. Tip of Screw is Hinged - Aligns With Work Well. Can be mounted. Not Heavy.
This is about as easy to use as any of this type that I have used. The weight is not very heavy since it is made of aluminum, which I like. The screw and its tip function well (there may be a little wobble, but that is expected since every clamp for woodwork that I have ever had has not been machined with a close tolerance like that of a clamp for a milling machine). The use of this clamp is perfect for frames and furniture as well as any other type of craft. One thing to remember is that when the work is clamped is not to put too much pressure on the clamp so that it damages the work, especially if it is a softer type of wood. If you are concerned about this, you can always add a piece of plywood on each side of the work (like you would do for a c-clamp or a vise to protect the work). This is a worthwhile addition for any woodworker, even though there are a great many other ways to clamp corners: This clamp simplifies the task and does it well.Lastly, as I often say, the tool must be used properly to achieve the results you want: Don't put too much pressure on the work when you don't require it (it can damage your work); measure to ensure that it is within specification prior to you permanently assembling it; use a large enough work surface to ensure your work is aligned by laying it flat on that surface (which should be clean of any damaging items, and either put shims under it to keep it aligned or put the clamps on the top of the work).I am comfortable recommending this tool for most environments, just not a highly busy production environment - I don;t think it would stand up to the demand of being used constantly - a steel version of this would be more appropriate perhaps (since it is aluminum, it will be more susceptible to cracking if impacted).

Perfect square frames
I used to struggle when trying to square up my mitered joints together but now I can easily make perfect picture frames. The clamp works easily enough and is intuitive. You just slide your pieces of wood together into the corner and tighten the clamp until they're square with each other. This is perfect for holding your pieces together until the glue sets. If you place the clamp beneath the pieces you're working with, you'll end up raising it slightly so if you don't have all 4 corners the same way, your corner may sag while the glue is drying. I get around this by clamping the piece from the top so that the rest of the wood stays level on the surface they're resting on. Or I should just get 3 more so I can work on more than 1 corner at a time and avoid the unlevel surface issue altogether.

Great clamp, fast
I got this clamp mostly for making boxes like speakers and wood amplifier chassis. They are accurate, easy to use and very fast. Good price as well.
