This adapter does exactly what it says. Nice and small so you can hide it in your console and boots up super fast. Most of the time it’s fully connected by the time my head unit finishes turning on so it almost feels factory. Initial set up was a bit of a pain, and took some time, but smooth sailing from there.

Got this for my husband’s car, a Jeep Wrangler, and it works great. Such a nice thing not having to have the phone connected to a cord.. there’s a slight delay when it’s connected but normal, nothing major. Once installed all you need to do is turn the car on and it will connect automatically. And one important thing to know is that it will only work if your car is already equipped with wired AppleCarPlay. Great price for what you get

First I want to say I would buy this again because it works 95% of the time and I love the small size since I don’t have a ton of space to waste in my car’s console area - but if I’m honest there are times I have to unplug it and then plug it back in to get it to work. I also have only used it with my phone, we’ve never tried connecting my husbands phone because I’m worried it’ll make it glitch. Also, frequently the sound won’t come on but if I select “Bluetooth audio” in the settings then the sound starts even though I’m using the CarPlay feature.

Bought it to declutter, works great. Auto connects and plays music without touching it. So easy to use just connect through Bluetooth once. Great simple design, good build quality.

Easy to install and works great for one phone. Does not switch between more than one user without starting from scratch to connect to bluetooth.

Was surprised to get home with a new Subaru BRZ and discover it was wired only Carplay, this adapter does the trick and works fairly well. It usually connects quickly and at worst connects at what I'd consider a "normal" speed (ie, the OEM screen may finish booting all the way before CP works). It sometimes has trouble with understanding the direction the car is facing but so far it has only happened briefly (10-20s) and infrequently. Seems to work well with all the apps I use like Waze and Spotify. Well worth it if you don't want to pull your phone out every time you get in your car, I know I don't.

Not recognized by my 2022 Subaru BRZ as a CarPlay device. I tried to contact MMR directly on their webpage, but they haven't responded in 3 days now. I've never had this problem with a wireless CarPlay adapter. Not recommended

I love that this thing is so small! It does not take up a ton of room or require a long cord to block other ports or storage areas. This adapter only works with apple Carplay so I bought this for my wife's phone. We have two different phones so it's actually nice that we don't both connect to the same thing. Connection was easy and use was simple as well!
