Designed for teens and collectors alike, it combines educational value with museum-quality realism, requiring no assembly and promoting environmental consciousness through its safe materials. ## Description Meet Maxim the Baryonyx, PNSO's Growth Companion Series reconstruction of a large Early Cretaceous spinosaurid presented at approximately 10 to 12 meters long. The hand-painted solid PVC model measures 9.45 x 1.57 x 3.54 inches (24 x 4 x 9 cm). Baryonyx's crocodile-like head is long and low, with numerous teeth and a distinctive notch near the front of the upper jaw that helped control slippery prey. A long flexible neck, slightly raised back, strong hind limbs, and an open-mouth fishing pose complete the body profile. The three-fingered forelimbs carry oversized first-finger claws, the signature feature behind the name Baryonyx, or "heavy claw." Fine skin texture and layered olive, gray, and rust-orange hand painting give Maxim a shelf-ready scientific-art presence. More than a standalone dinosaur figure, the set includes a transparent auxiliary support, A3 science-art poster, 64-page illustrated product manual, and QR codes linking to online videos (internet required): a dinosaur introduction and drawing lessons. Designed for teens 15+ and adult collectors. ## Features - Meet Maxim the Baryonyx, a 9.4-inch PNSO Growth Companion model reconstructed from a 10-to-12-meter Early Cretaceous spinosaurid that hunted fish along the water's edge. - The long, low crocodile-like snout features numerous teeth and a distinctive upper-jaw notch reconstructed to help grip and control slippery prey. - Three-fingered forelimbs carry oversized first-finger claws, joined by a flexible neck, slightly raised back, strong hind limbs, and an open-mouth fishing pose. - Includes a 64-page illustrated product manual, A3 science-art poster, and 6 QR videos: 1 introduction to Maxim and 5 step-by-step dinosaur drawing lessons. - Hand-painted on solid eco-friendly PVC, the 24 x 4 x 9 cm model includes a transparent auxiliary support and is designed for teens 15+ and adult collectors. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0D3F6CWXD | | Additional Features | High Detail and Realism | | Age Range Description | teens | | Animal Theme | Dinosaur | | Are Batteries Required | No | | Best Sellers Rank | #164,099 in Toys ( See Top 100 in Toys ) #774 in Kids' Play Dinosaur & Prehistoric Creature Figures | | Brand Name | PNSO | | Collection Name | PNSO Prehistoric Dinosaur Models | | Color | Olive/Gray/Rust Orange | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (25) | | Educational Objective | learn about dinosaurs and endangered species | | Finish Type | Matte | | Included Components | model and post | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Inner Material | Plastic | | Is Assembly Required | No | | Is Autographed | No | | Item Dimensions | 24 x 4 x 9 centimeters | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 30.5L x 6.4W x 10.2H centimeters | | Item Highlight | 9.4" Fish-Hunting Spinosaurid, Long Snout, Giant Thumb Claw, 64-Page Manual + A3 Poster, 15+ | | Item Type Name | PNSO Prehistoric Dinosaur Model | | Manufacturer | PNSO | | Manufacturer Part Number | PNSO28020102082ZH | | Manufacturer recommended age | 15 years and up | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | 'Mateo The Tyrannotitan' | | Model Number | 6974180732478 | | Model Series | Growth Companion | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Operation Mode | manual | | Outer Material | Plastic | | Play Activity Location | Floor | | Recommended Uses For Product | aprendizagem e brincadeira de faz de pretend | | Scale | Not to scale | | Set Name | PNSO Prehistoric Dinosaur Models | | Size | L | | Style | Modern | | Theme | Animal | | Toy Figure Type | Miniature Figure | | character | Maxim The Baryonyx (PNSO Prehistoric Dinosaur Models) | ## Images ![Prehistoric Dinosaur Models:84 Maxim The Baryonyx - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51NmFAukzJL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - PNSO Prehistoric Dinosaur Models:84 Maxim The Baryonyx - PNSO Prehistoric Dinosaur Models:85 Njor The Camarasaurus - PNSO Prehistoric Dinosaur Models:86 Frederik The Lokiceratops --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/647052923-prehistoric-dinosaur-models-84-maxim-the-baryonyx](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/647052923-prehistoric-dinosaur-models-84-maxim-the-baryonyx) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
