Can a 6s 5000mAh lipo battery be checked in or carried on in US and international flights?

You can't carry Lipo batteries in your checked baggage anywhere. You can travel with your Li-po batteries in the plane's cabin as long as they are in your carry on bag and in a special Li-po battery fire retardant bag. Check with your airline to learn how many you can take with you. When I travel with my DJI drone as am example, I carry 4 batteries with it. I haven't carried my 6S batteries with me on a plane yet because the model airplanes I own that uses those batteries are extremely big and I never travel with them. Have a great day!...
