I bought this as an inexpensive light just to get my aquarium started, so I honestly wasn’t expecting much. I set up the tank with Fluval Stratum substrate, added plants, and used this light from the beginning. It has worked out really nicely. It’s small, bright enough for a planted 3-gallon tank, and has kept everything looking healthy and happy. This is a surprisingly solid little light, kind of a sleeper pick. I’ve already bought another one for a second tank, and I’d absolutely buy it again.

This light is perfect for bluey the betta! You can adjust brightness for the betta but make it bright enough for live plants! Keeps the wate4 clean by keeping the plants healthy!
