The pump on my humidifier stopped working, and this was the perfect replacement.

Our wonderful 1-year old room humidifier had stopped working and after reading many reviews about that humidifier, it seems that the water pump would give out in about that time frame. Did some troubleshooting and testing and concluded that's what happened to ours so we ordered this replacement after searching several other sites and models.Although it did fix our problem when we replaced it, (YAY! Thank you!) I have a couple negative things to say about it that reduced the item from 5-stars down to 4-stars:1) This replacement did not come with the 4 rubber feet that keep the suction of the water pump off the floor of the water container in which it sits. I had to remove the 4 rubber feet from the old one and install them in this new one. Not an easy task as it turns out and had to use several small tools to force the old feet into the new holes. They are the same diameter but the "lip" of the feet are slightly oversized and it took some doing to get them into water pump holes.2) The shipping time took over a month - looks like it came directly from China and had to go thru sitting on the docks and then Customs before it could finally reach our house.We are ordering another identical unit soon so that in another year we won't have the long waiting period. We're hoping the next unit is supplied with the 4 rubber feet already installed so that the replacement will be quick and smooth.Other than those few items, this is a great value replacement pump and definitely recommend it if you're in the market for another. Be sure to keep the rubber feet from your existing pump in case yours are also missing.

Even though this was aftermarket, it worked perfectly with my humidifier.
