Happy I went with this timber Jack versus ones I saw for less… this thing is heavy duty! My only small complaint is that the handle screws together in two halves and sometimes comes loose during use. I probably just need to apply some locktite to the screw threads.

Very happy with this purchase. I almost spent 3X as much on the Log Ox but decided to try this. Works great, I've been able to lift some very large trees up with ease. It's heavy duty and for my medium duty home use is plenty sturdy. My only small gripe is it sometimes loosens up where the main tube screws together. Not a big deal but would be nice if it locked down.

I ordered this for my husband after hurricane Helene. We had several trees down. This helped tremendously to get the trees cut up and moved.

I was immediately surprised at some of the poor finish quality, but overlooked that since I figured I was going to beat-it-up outdoors. Then I noticed no assembly instructions. Again, not a big deal since it is a pretty simple device to figure out. But once I tried to attach the hook to the body, it just wouldn't line-up. Then it became pretty clear why: a huge metal blob blocking the insertion of the hook as you can see in the picture. I tried to pry it off, but it wouldn't budge. Time to return and pursue another brand.
