Plug the modules into switches that needed a faster interconnect. Worked perfect, no setup needed.

I got these SFPs to connect a MokerLink 5 port managed 2.5gb switch to a Yuanley 8 port unmanaged 2.5gb switch. Not entirely sure why but these switches have defaulted to a 1G connection using these SFPs. The fiber is compliant and the switches are as well but it's still dumbed down. This might be a setting in the MokerLink so I need to do some more looking. However, my WAN connection is a 1gb fiber connection so it's not a huge deal anyhow. My 2.5gb devices are connected directly to my primary switch that is in front of the fiber link so they're still operating at their highest speeds. Despite the default, everything is working perfectly and I'm glad to have the additional Ethernet port on the switch for an additional device.

This transceiver works well. I use it to connect my HPE DL20 servers with my TP-Link fiber switch for my 10Gbps home network. I'm happy with the product and haven't seen any issues so far. Recommended!

Does not work in melanox connectx 3

Runs in my X520-DA1 without any issues. Plug and play 10G. Package included a Vandesail SFP+ cable which is cool, I already have another cable just like it from them and it's without issues also. This is a great value, and a keeper.
