Real review from a cat lady - This will be a long one. I purchased this as a last resort for an ill cat. He would normally purr wildly when you pet him, pick him up, and loves to sit in your lap...but when he became ill, there was zero purring and he didn't want to sit with anyone. He would disappear for a while at odd hours and wouldn't come like normal when you called him, but didn't get around well in general. Lots of laying around and moving slow. He wouldn't eat anything you offered him, no people food, tuna (that he loves), no water, nothing. He is my mom's cat and she figured taking him to the vet would just result in a high bill and he would still pass anyway. He is older, so we thought it was possibly just "his time", and we kept him comfortable. We don't know his exact age, since he wandered up here about 10 years ago. So we know he is 11 or more. I was actually not all that optimistic about the product working, fearing it was too late, but I figured at least it would be nice to have on-hand for my cats. So, I happened to still have some powdered kitten formula still around the house from about 2 years prior, and we started "forcing" him that with a medicine dosing syringe, until this supplement came in from Prime. I figured the vitamins in the formula would at least keep him around a few days longer. We are unsure if he was going "potty", as he only goes outdoors and we normally don't see it happen. He seemingly stayed about the same, while we were waiting for the supplement to arrive. When the supplement came in, we crushed it up and added it to the kitten formula. I believe it was about 2 or 3 days later that he started to show improvement and began showing interest in food. This is when he started acting more like himself again. He had been having a congested cough and a wheeze for a few years up to this point. My mom had been neglecting to take him to the vet, fearing an expensive vet bill, since she didn't have much income. I wasn't rushing him to the vet myself for the same reason, unfortunately, and I had to keep any extra money for my own cats. The cheaper vet here is rude and pushy, and the better vets are too expensive. He had been getting along with it for so long, she figured he would be fine. When he stopped eating, his cough was still there, he would just cough longer than normal. When he started showing improvement, my mom stopped giving him the supplement. This was maybe 10-12 days after we started him on it. (If I had typed this review sooner, the timeline would be fresher on my mind.) He started coughing again about 2-3 days after she stopped the supplement. I told her, treat this like an antibiotic and give it to him for a long enough time to make sure the issue is fully gone. She insisted we wait a little bit, but his cough wasn't getting better. So we started giving it to him again. I can't even remember how long it was with the second round, but it was over two weeks for sure. At least when I fed him myself every evening, I know he was getting it then. It is possible my mother was not giving him any in the morning as often as I was in the evening, since she was convinced he didn't need it anymore and she rarely takes anyone's advice on anything. He weighs around 9lbs. I would give him 2 pills each time I fed him in the evenings, and on the occasions she actually gave him the supplement, she was giving him two in the morning. I haven't heard him cough or wheeze in the past 3 weeks he has been completely off of the supplement. He had lost weight during his downtime, and he was already somewhat slim to begin with. She had been giving him an extra, but smaller, meal before his downtime, but he wasn't gaining any weight. After he got over the congestion, he started getting a bit of a pot belly, so he is down to two meals a day and maintains the small pot belly. He IS being wormed here at home. So I think the supplement has also helped him gain a little weight, which is an improvement for him. This may be because, before his illness, he would occasionally puke up his food. It would have a lot of mucus in it, so I think controlling his mucus solved the puking issue, therefore solving the weight issue. I'm no doctor, so this is just my hypothesis. It could be a huge coincidence that he snapped back for another reason that had nothing to do with this supplement. But I do know for sure it has helped him for the congestion problem that he had for so long. He had been wormed already with the same stuff we always give him, so it's not just a worming medicine that happened to work for him later on. Whether worming medicine can even help congestion anyway, I am not sure. I cannot guarantee this will cure everyone's sick cat, that is a risk you take waiting on, if you choose this over a vet. Every situation and illness is different. If you can afford a trustworthy vet, that may be the more wise option than depending on this. I am more of a holistic type of person, so I do prefer holistic options when there is time for it. I have had vets not know exactly what is wrong with my cats, prescribing them expensive things that didn't work. So, it's understandable if you are looking for an alternative. Best wishes to you all and your beloved kitties!

My cat had a blocked duct & a small lump had formed under her eye. She was sneezing, wheezing, itching, cranky, lethargic & generally not herself. I ordered this the next morning after I noticed her symptoms & started giving them to her that evening. I crushed the tablets & put them in a treat tube for her. My medication phobic tabby licked every last bit! She even got excited when we would crush the tablets & sat down to watch the show! She would sniff the tablets & the powder from crushing them. After 2-4 days of taking them as per the dose. I noticed the lump was shrinking & she seemed like she was starting to feel better. Her sneezing subsided and she was no longer wheezing. Now 6 days later the lump is barely a pinpoint & she is energetic, playful & back to her usual fun loving self! Thanks for saving Emerald the stress of a vet appointment ,the cost was well worth it!

This excellent product, in combination with Cat Allergy Relief made by the same company, helped relieve my cat's constant sneezing and congestion within about 2 weeks. She adamantly rejects the oral forms of other meds, but she eats her wet food without balking when I grind up these tiny pills and stir them into her food. (She's so much smarter than I am about these things that I do the pill grinding, and add them to her very slightly opened can of food, out of her sight, so all she sees me do is finish opening the can in front of her and put into her dish.) She has a sensitive stomach but these pills do not make her sick.

This has made a HUGE improvement with my cat’s sneezing problem. Highly recommend - works and is easy to dispense. Pills are very tiny - easy to hide in her food. No issue getting her to eat them.
