Needs Work but Solid Vacuum
Updating my review to say that Beatbot Support exceeded all expectations.Cleans well. You pretty much get one cleaning per charge. It will not connect to my app despite trying all troubleshooting. When finished cleaning it will park itself at the wall but it doesn't stay there very long. So if you don't pick it up at the end of the cleaning you're going to have to fish it out with the hook. Often sand gets collected underneath the basket, not in the basket. Overall, I still prefer this over the Dolphin since it doesn't have a cord.

Returned product but great service received
Update:Beatbot customer service has reached out to me and is working on resolving the issues I had with the machine. Updating review to reflect the service received. Nice to have a company that stands behind their product.Original Review:Ended up returning it. Initially worked ok. However subsequent uses it would catch the debris under the basket rather than in it. Bad design flaw as this lets debris fall back into the pool. Going back to a corded version as they are more reliable. Cordless was convenient but not worth the active in quality clean.

A solid unit with some quirks
I got this to replace an Aiper that had died two months after its warranty expired. This time, I used a credit card that doubles the manufacturer's warranty. So - 4 years of warranty. The unit is physically larger and heavier than the Aiper. I'm glad I didn't go for the "Pro" version which is clearly even larger and heavier. It seems to be well made, and although it's heavier, it's just as easy to carry as the Aiper, because the ergonomics are better. Nice big grab handle. It has Wifi connectivity when it's out of the pool. But it does not accept Wifi passphrases with embedded spaces. I asked Beatbot's tech support about it, and their suggestion was to change my wifi passphrase. Umm, not happening. I have WAY too many gadgets with that passphrase. Note that I say "passphrase" and not "password". Wifi has supported passphrases since its very inception.Luckily, the cleaner works without wifi.Another issue - that I didn't know before receiving it; The manual says to turn off your pool filters while the cleaner is cleaning. I'm betting that's because the noise in the water confuses their ultrasonic sensor.I don't think that was mentioned in the Quick Start pamphlet. Anyway, the cleaner does work with the pumps running, but I think it's a little confused. My pool is a simple rectangular shape, and for some reason instead of going back & forth with the shape, the cleaner cuts steep diagonals across it, climbing the walls a bit at a severe tilt. The pool hadn't been properly cleaned since the old cleaner gave up, and although we have a power cover on it, a quantity of leaves had wound up on the bottom. The instructions say to clean the pool by hand before using the cleaner for the first clean of the season. Heck with that! I bought this $1K cleaner to *clean*, not to watch me clean :).So I plopped the cleaner in. It did it's thing and then parked at the edge of the pool. I fished it out, and the hopper was completely full. Recharged it and did it again the next day. It's been 3 days of once-a-day cleaning, and now the pool is almost pristine.WRT charging: The unit comes with a charging dock with two big spring loaded terminals that contact connection spots on the side of the cleaner. This seems like a very effective system, and superior to the little rubber-tipped plug that the Aiper had. Much easier to keep clean. The cleaner started parking itself at the far side of the pool, that has a retaining wall. Sure would be nice if I could tell it to park over HERE instead. But not deadly - my pool pole reaches the other side, and the supplied hook is very good - very substantial. The last few cleans, the unit stopped parking itself on the wall. Rather, it just stops somewhere in the middle of the pool. Not deadly - it's easy to fish it out with the pole.In conclusion, this seems to be a good cleaning machine, with some high-tech warts. But no deal killers.

Great pool robot
I love this pool robot. Just put it in the pool and walk away. It runs for 2.5 to 3 hours on one charge. Cleans the floors and walls of my pool. I like the app notices when the robots battery is running low. I wish we had invested in this years ago. It definitely makes life easier.

Don’t do it…
I took a chance and lost on this big time, learn from my $1k+ mistake. This review is for the AquaSense. I was considering spending more to get the 2 but thought I’d try this one out first.Worked great for the first month or so, I was very happy. Would do its thing then park itself at the edge and wait for me to grab it. Did an ok job of cleaning up the bottom.Recently it started just stopping / stalling at the deep end of my pool. The provided hook does not fit our pool rod so until I get another I have to jump in and get it. It’s not the battery, upon retrieval and coming back online battery always shows between 46-48%. I followed all instructions, cleaned filter, etc. It’s not stalling over the bottom return so no reason to think it’s getting sucked it by it. The suction isn’t strong enough anyway. Customer support is responsive but will run you in circles insisting I take videos of the robot sitting at the pool bottom of the pool. Not sure what good this does. I’m currently in the process of dealing with them and will update this review when done. But so far, not impressed. To be fair, our pool is odd shaped with curved bottom edges but I read the product description which said it’s able to handle this. Our pool is average in size 12-15k gallons. Also, it seems to be working fine until recently.Bottom line, was working fine until the return window closed then turned into a complete waste of money. Think twice and be aware when considering BeatBot.

I wanted to love it
I wanted to love this but returned and went back to my skimmer based unit.It did fine on bottom, not great around drains. My issue was it missed constantly around stairs, didn’t do well transferring bottom to walls. Mine are curved and it seemed length of tracks and suction power it couldn’t get enough to climb consistently.Maybe the newer model but too pricey for a pool vacuum.

good quality
It is a very good robot. It cleans the pool at the highest level. The element is quite durable and its price really corresponds to the quality. My friend recommended me to buy it because he has had it for two years and he is also very satisfied with this product. Research conducted on the Internet also confirms that this is the best choice compared to other competitors. It is so cute that I fell in love with it like a pet.
