I love having these in my riding boots, to keep the structure and hopefully deter spiders, but they don't have a way to actually stretch the calves. I guess if your boots have a much narrower shaft then they'd stretch it, but still not about to call that a stretcher

These are AMAZING! I am a professional equestrian and as such, invest a considerable amount onto my equipment and boots. These shapers are some of the best “bang for your buck” I’ve come across. They do NOT stretch a boot whatsoever these are merely tree shapers. IF, you are looking for tree's these will do the job, IF, you are looking to S T R E T C H your boot these will NOT do the job!! Repeat, you will be highly disappointed!RETURNED!!!

I bought these to stretch my leather boots out in the calf area. They shrank over the years but these were perfect in stretching them. Also smells great!
