It’s a Velcro brand adjustment and you have to be careful with it because it’s not stitched very securely. (However, I love this hat!)

Q: Is this considered standard large men’s hat?

This hat is a little larger than other men’s hats I wear, but still a good fit. I have a big head and I wear this and other more regular sized hats just fine.
