Good novelty. "Roof" is broader than illustration suggests but you may wish to secure it with a spot of blu-tack on underside.

i put battery in. didn't work. changed it and it broke.

Really cool time-piece. Only -ve is that its weight/shape mean that placement has to be given some thought - it landed on the floor a couple of times! Happily, it survived & continues to keep good time

Battery back was missing.

Much better quality than expected, for the price. Unlike other reviews, haven't found the ticking to be too loud. However, I would recommend some sticky pads (or other) to secure to the shelf, as rather front-heavy otherwise.
