First and foremost not all styling gels are the same. This seems to be a surprise to most guys, but it's an important distinction. You wouldn't use a sock wrench to tighten a flat head screw. Same idea here. This product offers a small amount of hold. If you have long hair, you want to spike it up, or do something more intricate, this is NOT the product for you.If you look at the pictures on the product they spell this out.If you have short hair (crew cut, military fade, etc.) and if you want to casually style your hair, think business casual, this is perfect. It leaves minimal sheen, and if you run your hand through your hair after it is set once, no sheen at at. It will hold you hair for a surprisingly long time while still leaving your hair soft to the touch. It still has good longevity and I often wake the next day with my hair still looking decent. If you wet your hands you can generally restyle it 2-3 times per application as desired. I like my hair parted to the right at work and a little ruffled in my personal life. Bam. Other "Forming Creme" products I have used are maybe the consistency of mayo or thicker, but this runs like water, and right through my fingers if I am not fast enough.

I just received this yesterday and I am wearing it today. This is more like a styling gel that holds a slight stiffness and gives your hair a nice form. Its actually worked better for me than most all other products I've tried.

I mostly have a comb over but my hair kind of falls forward. This does a good job of keeping my hair in place while still looking natural.
