I bought with book from amazon to gift it to a friend who was just thinking of starting this new hobby. I did have a chance to go through the book before I handed it over to her. This book is very informative. Like It also talks about how to convert your hand written letters into digital cards and how to edit them on editing software. I didn’t have time to look into the details, but it did have a lot of practice page (not many but enough) anyone who gets this book as a gift or just buys the book for themselves will be tempted to also get a set or pens and start practicing. My friend was jumping in joy

Looks damn interesting .. the book will make you feel like looking at it again n again.Well , about the content inside.. decent stuff to learn for beginners .. has a good number of techniques and craft ideas .. also has blank pages to practise within ..

You will get to learn alot from this purchase.

Useful for beginners. I would suggest notbto use the worksheets provided as it can be carried for gemerations to learn the basics. Do not treat it as a workbook, but as a guide to calligraphy

Lovely book. I absolutely love it especially because of the way the information is presented! I like how they've introduced all the lettering styles. Covers a wide variety and styles of lettering which is exactly what I was looking for.

Bello esteticamente, viene voglia di sfogliarlo. Ricco di idee, esempi e modelli. Interattivo, stimolante, predisposto anche per esercitarsi direttamente sul testo. Propone anche lavori su lavagna (breve trattazione del lettering con i gessetti), ceramica, vetro. Un ottimo acquisto. Quando ho effettuato l'ordine ho comprato la versione in inglese perché immediatamente disponibile, è scritto in modo chiaro, i testi che accompagnano le illustrazioni e gli esempi sono brevi e comprensibili anche per chi non avesse molta dimestichezza con la lingua.

For some time I had been looking into learning calligraphy, when I came across this fantastic book. It's an ideal way to start learning all about lettering and building a nice creative handwriting. It's full of nice, interesting tips and suggestions.

This is an incredible book for a beginner. I always had this artsy side to me and I’ve been so busy holding back from doing the arts and crafts that make me feel good. But something changed over the last year and now I have done and am still continuing to pursue all the arts and crafts I really enjoy doing.Calligraphy being one of them. I bought this book, a pen and ink set and some calligraphy paper and that pretty much all you need. I have never been so impressed with what I can do. This book teaches you from lowercase letters to forming sentences and then adding your own oomph to it in short your adding your own style to it. It is pretty awesome if you ask me.I highly recommend this book for those who enjoy calligraphy or wants to start and learn how its done the right way.
