These figures are a great set from a G1 cartoon origin story of Optimus Prime. They are both repaints of previous molds and represent those characters pretty well. This set is also meant to be paired with the Orion Pax and Alpha Trion set released prior to this one. Only Dion transformed in this episode and his limited screen time is represented pretty well in both modes. As for Ariel, this setโs figure transforms into a motorcycle. Ariel is a reasonable reproduction of the robot form of the character with some additional motorcycle kibble. Both figures in this set are deluxe size. Although this is a very nice set and the figures are durable with snug joints, the characters are only from one obscure G1 episode. Part of the great attraction to Transformers are the developed characters associated with the various toys. Therefore, this set may not be for those collectors who do not have a love for the G1 cartoon. However, these are good figures and would make a great gift for those simply wanting good transforming figures. The cost of a single deluxe figure is about $25, and prices deviate after the initial release run depending upon the popularity of the figure over time.

Yes they're retools/repaints of Legacy Arcee and SS86 Kup, but honestly the molds fit considering Erial and Dion were not Autobot warriors, they were simple Cybertronians, just like Orion Pax. If you're a fan of the franchise, these are a great addition to the collection!
