The Samson C03 condenser microphone is a really awesome buy for studio recording applications. I have used it for both vocal as well as acoustic instrument recordings. The multi-pattern feature of this microphone is the real deal for varied recording scenarios. The build of the microphone and the hard case it comes with are also the highlight features. The low frequency cut off option available on the microphone is also really helpful and overall the mic has shows good response over varied frequency ranges and produces good sound levels.

Very good budget microphone
Awesome clarity. The multiple polar patterns works fine. high pass filter is ok ok type. reception power is bit lower side when comparing with Rode NT1A. very good for beginners.

Worst quality of surface ever seen in mics
The media could not be loaded. I had bought this considering Samson is a global brand but the Matt coating of the mic gave up in a few months. To an event that it peels off. No dedicated service support in India. Didn't expect this for a costly mic.

Microphone with switchable patterns and sound is crystal AF.... Very powerful... Samson has not let it's name down again. Perfect for Home studio. For starters.... It's perfect. Decent price. Make this your starter microphone. Had seen around 5 reviews in YouTube before buying so don't waste your time and Go for it.

Pros:1. Excellent mic2. Awesome noise isolation / cancellation3. Level, cutoff and pattern selection switches are a wow4. Feels heavy and sturdy enoughCons:1. Does not have ON / OFF switch, I can live without it, not a real con.

Cheaper and better mics available in market
It's good but there are cheaper local brands which are more or less of the same quality.
