It perfectly sums up why cats are great friends and is a great story for the feline-loving child in your life. It's a short book that can be read in a few minutes before bed. The illustrations are great also, so your child can just flip through on their own to look at the pictures too.

This books illustrations were so bright and colorful!! I loved every page of it and I also loved the story of the child and their cat! I can’t wait to show it to my niece who loves her cat too!

Colorful illustrations bring the story to life as we observe Pizza with his person. The person must be inexperienced in cat ownership because the rule book clearly states that although we THINK we own the cat it is actually the cat who owns us. Just like Pizza, most cats (AND dogs) are great at pulling our strings! They are deeply committed to us, but we ARE expected to do their bidding.)Gather the family and get ready to read another very short story. It's a terrific way to spend some quality time with our children AND purring fuzzies! ENJOY!P.S. - They only purr when we're doing it correctly (in their opinion) or scratching them, feeding them, playing with them, brushing them, keeping them FAR away from the tub, etc. Basically just doting on them most of their awake time.
