Card Game for kids
I bought this game for our 8 yr old granddaughter. She enjoyed playing it!

It needs to be played over a table for maximum enjoyment.
I first played this whilst home in the UK over the holidays. It was so much fun that another relative bought it and we played it again at his house. A really fun game for all the family. I bought two for my family here, but so far we haven't managed to get together to enjoy it. You do need to play it over a table and sometimes that gets a bit inconvenient. However, I am looking forward to our family's next get-together to play it.

This game is a winner!
My 8 and 5 year old granddaughters love this game. We laugh so hard we have had their parents come to check up on us. I bought it for Chinese New Year, year of the pig. Great choice! We can even play with the 2 year old if I whisper what to do. Then she can join the fun!

Fun game for ages 4 to adult.
I first played this game over in England when visiting with some of my grandchildren. We had a great time and they throughly enjoyed. I bought the game in the US so that I could play with my other grandchildren. It is easy to learn and lots of fun.

fun for a wide age group
Similar to the card game Spoons, fun for a wide age group. We played several times over Christmas and Mew Year’s and had a blast!

Great fun!
Santa brought this for the family and it's a great hit with us all, including our daughters aged 5 1/2 and 3. The game is advertised as 6+ and I would say this is about right for a truly competitive game! Our three year old understands the concept but she struggles holding her hand of cards. Given the pace of the game you do need to hold the cards in your hand rather than our usual kid method of placing them face down on the table in front of you and secretly peeking at each before deciding which to play. However as you only need to hold four cards I do this for her as well as managing my own hand. Our three year old is also slow to grab a pig when she has four cards, but it's early days yet and I'm sure she'll learn! Given their ages we haven't really got into the bluffing aspect yet, but it's still fun without. Whilst you can play with three players (indeed, players are eliminated each round so you will end up with playing as a three and then as a two), it is better with 4 players or more as otherwise the rounds are over quite quickly as everyone quickly gets their matching sets. Overall we are really pleased with this game and think we will grow into it and enjoy it for many years to come.

Great!
Bought this for my 8 year old son as a Christmas Present based on the good reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Even my husband enjoyed it and he isn't really a board game fan. The game is really simple. There are 24 cards made up of 6 sets of different animals. The idea of the game is to collect 4 of the same type of animal by simply everyone passing a spare card to the next person at the same time - when you have 4 cards the same you grab a pig and all the other players need to grab one too. It is a similar principle to musical chairs in that there is 1 less pig than number of players in the game. The player who doesn't get to grab a pig is out. Then you play again (after removing a pig and one set of animal cards). We played it quite slow because my 8 year old still struggles to hold the cards in his hands without showing everyone but this didn't spoil the game. The whole game didn't take longer than 10 minutes including explaining the rules so ideal to squeeze some quality family time into a busy day.

Fun for all the family!
I won't go into detail on game play, as there are already plenty of reviews explaining that. But what I will say, is that this is possibly the best family game I have ever had thejoy of owning, and playing. It keeps our family of 4 (two 40 something's, a stroppy 15 year old, and a very stubborn 8 year old) from killing each other on rainy weekends! We take it with us whenever we go on holiday, and anywhere we may have long waits - we once played it in a hospital waiting room, and had everyone from the senior consultant, to the toddler with a broken arm, asking about it and watching as we played. We even played it with my 70 year old father in law, and he whipped all our butts!Face past, funny, very little thinking involved, just about anyone can enjoy this game, and have a fair chance of winning.Buy it, you will not be disappointed!

Brilliant family game
This was by far the most successful Xmas game, and it is still going in the New Year. In fact I am planning on taking it on holiday with us. You can begin playing immediately as the concept is simple, Be sure you manage to grab a pig if you, or anyone you are playing with, has four matching cards. This means that whilst collecting you have to be alert to the success of others. Don't get too keen though cos some folks aren't above bluffing you into grabbing the pig too soon and losing one of your 3 lives. Only word of advice...clear the table of anything that can go flying before you begin and that includes the tablecloth. The pIastic pigs are just right for tiny or large hands to grab, cards are reasonable quality but a few of ours are now bent due to over enthusiastic grabbing. If six of you play regularly this might eventually become a problem.

Really good, simple and FUN!
I bought this game for Christmas as I wanted something that everyone could easily pick up and play. However I wasn't expecting it to keep a group of twenty-somethings entertained for nearly 3 hours! The game is very simple to understand- you have to have 4 matching cards before you can grab a pig but as soon as someone else has grabbed one you must make sure you grab one as well. Essentially it is like spoons but with farm animals for cards and plastic pigs instead of spoons. The fun part of the game is bluffing to grab a pig making someone else get one by mistake. It really does get intense- the longer the round went without anyone getting a pig the closer we would all huddle to the center of the table knowing that soon we would have to make a grab for it. Then there is usually a big scramble, pigs (and sometimes drinks) flying off the table and everyone laughing. Good fun!
