Once the voltage is set and the out put switched on. The voltage display does not show the the actual volts. Therefore if you require to raise the voltage when unit switched on then another voltmeter is required to be connected across the supply.

I bought this because I need over 100 volts DC at up to 3 amps for some anodizing projects. The output has some ripple but is ok. Construction and design are good. CC and CV modes work as expected.My only gripe and the reason I've not given 5 stars is the adjustment knobs are potentiometers rather than rotary encoders. This means that they have end stops rather than turning for ever. So you have to keep putting the fine control back to the 12 o clock position before making adjustments to the coarse one, otherwise you are likely to hit one or other of the end stops when homing in on your target voltage with the fine one. Iyswim.This might seem petty but it's actually quite annoying. If you're the manufacturer, please note: I for one would be happy to pay another ten quid to have rotary encoders instead.

This has the power output control, and also you can easily set voltage and current without pressing and holding and selecting like other models.

Zero amp control and fine tune is a subtle as driving a truck through your house. Output power button stopped working after a few hours it says off but voltage is still coming through.DO NOT TRUST THIS JUNK WITH EXPENCIVE ELECTRONICS you will end up destroying them.you would have more control over voltage/amps sticking your fingers in a plug socket.
