I've been drinking energy drinks since I was a little kid, and the first one was obviously Red Bull back in the 1990s. I can tell you though, I've always had issues with skin breakouts when drinking energy drinks, and gitteryness that gets my heart going to a wild speed that I don't think is very healthy.I love Guru, and the reason why is because they have half the amount of sugar, and it's not refined sugar, it's cane sugar! The Original Flavor is my favorite, and I get this almost every month (if not sometimes twice a month in large quantities). I wish I could work for Guru, because they're a fantastic company and I'd probably have an unlimited amount of Guru Energy Drinks to consume.One of the big factors I've noticed is, I don't have an irregular heart beat with Guru at all. I can drink 3 of them, and I feel alert, yet fine and relaxed at the same time. Yes, it gives you energy, but a GOOD energy and a positive feeling in your mindset. I think cane sugar is far better than consuming refined sugar which is usually in cheap soda in the USA.Guru is best chilled, so leave it in your fridge in ice, or you could sandwich is between to ice cold buckets of ice cream, or whatever contents you have in the freezer. I usually go the freezer route so I can get it chilled quick (5 to 10 minutes time, and it's good to go).I have also noticed that I don't get cavities with Guru Energy Drinks, not sure why but maybe it's just good luck? My skin looks fine after consuming so many of these which to me is highly important, and why I strongly believe that the cheaper refined sugars 50+ grams found in your average Soda Pop will disrupt, and aggravate your skin sebum production in turn you get pimples (which Guru won't do), and this is a FACT I've witnessed over years of drinking Guru.Trust me, Guru is the best Energy Drink, and well worth the investment and money! They ship in a very hefty thick box which can be used for storage if you choose to go that route as well. Well-packaged, lower sugar yet taste amazing, and also won't disrupt your heart beat for the worse, or make you break out which is the case with refined sugars.Thank you for taking your time to review MY review on Amazon. :) Love my Guru!

I originally discovered this drink in whole foods but wanted to buy it in bulk. Glad I was able to get it here. It came perfectly as listed, never any damaged cans. Caffeine level is good but not too much. It's low on calories and low on sugar and tastes the best out of any other yerba mate drinks I've tried.

If you're anything like me, you have a busy life, and getting 8+ hours of sleep every night just doesn't happen. But what about the energy? Well it works, I took my first sip, went "oh well, crap, doesn't work" and then 2 minutes later I was awake! No jitters, no "surge-o-epic caffeine" - just awake. It's refreshing, if you're used to the "wired wired wired wired zing zoom bzzzzz crash!" of normal energy drinks, get ready for one that actually just makes you feel like yourself. Not wired, not tired, not cranky, not crazy, just a couple extra hours of focus as YOU!But what about the flavor? GURU Lite is best described as "not bad", I like it room temperature, you may prefer it chilled. Unlike those commercial heart-attacks-in-a-can, GURU focused on health over sugar-load, so expect a slightly lemony, earthy herbal taste. It is not by an means bad tasting, but it's not like liquid candy, it's a simple, natural flavor that doesn't overwhelm or make you want to chug twenty of them. You drink this for the health and energy, and the taste is secondary. I don't want you to think "oh it tastes bad..." because it doesn't, it's just the taste is definitely not the focus, it's not a soda, it's more like a glass of water - you drink it because you're thirsty, and this, you drink because you are tired and want to be awake.What about the cost? Well, Amazon has the best deal around. I chose the subscribe-and-save option and came home to find a box, wrapped in a clear plastic wrap to protect against rain, two days later. Inside was my case of GURU (which looks exactly like the picture). I found with GURU not only am I drinking fewer of them than I did with Bed Rull, but I'm able to sleep better and of course I'm ending each month with tons of cash in my pocket that is no longer being spent on over-priced, junk-laden commercial "energy".And the best part? I have all the energy I want at hand in a far, far healthier package. Give it a shot today, you will be pleasantly surprised.

This item gets a five star it’s all natural organic made from natural tea leaves and fruit extract does no toxic chemicals within, it’s kind of pricey, but it’s tasty and it gives you the job you need on an all natural basis I would recommend

I wish I had tried a single can from the store before buying 2 cases of Guru. My family likes trying different brands for a change of pace from our regular favorites, and have never actually hated an energy drink before as a result!After trying each of the cans from the variety packs we realized that all of them not only had what tasted like it's too sweet, stevia obviously, we all agreed it's like they all have a strong cough medicine aftertaste. Very odd. My wife decided that she was going to finish the rest of the cans, but my daughter and I just couldn't handle them. Take this review as you like but we won't be buying this again.
