Q: HI, are you able to somehow switch the patterns while spinning? or must you stop and change it?

Hi there! Store Owner Here Yes if you put this glow stick on the "shuffle" color mode or the "demo" pattern option the light will automatically change colors or patterns on it's own, which is described in easy terms on the included instructions sheet. :-) Kind Regards From UltraPoi

The Helix Poi come pre-loaded with many beautiful color modes and strobing patterns. Although this poi set can have custom color combinations programmed by the user via the buttons, the glowstick itself does not have usb image upload capabilities, but it is still extremely fun and a great value.

Q: Has anyone tried using these for rope dart?

This product could easily be modified to produce a rope dart with two heads or even two separate rope darts with one head each.
