Very compact. I haven’t used them and I hope I never have to. The package is very sturdy and fit in my go bag. I also have clotting agents. Please be ready out there, the life you save may be your own.

i have at least two of these in each afak or ifak or really any advanced medical kits i have. they are small, compact and will be used when neccissary. they store well and have a lot of gauze. guess im betting my life on them if i end up using them! so good thing i like them.

I opened a pack just for review and out of my own curiosity. My experience is with this type of product is limited to the gauze I have in hand, so a sample and experience of one. First the package is well sealed with a powerful vacuum. There are notches in the vacuum bag to make it easier to open, the notched area is not really highlight to stand out. Mine were purchased a few months (oct, 2024)ago (MFG date of March 2024) and have a expiration date of Feb, 2029. Removing the gauze from the bag was easy enough and it comes out in a tight compressed brick, which took me a few seconds to get it to peel apart. I wish I had other brands to compare it to. I found it not ideal in this aspect , I wish Z-folds peeled open easier. The package says 6 ply's, when I peel apart the plys into single layer I count 4 layers, so take that for whatever it is.

I opened one to check the quality and was impressed. Several layers thick, strong, and absorbent. They may look small, but the gauze just keeps coming. They are a very nice addition to compact kits.

Excellent for an ifak or a home first aid kit in general! I use them for both!
