These skates are GREAT! They are so easy to adjust and will last my child for a few years. They are so well built that I'm not worried that she'll be able to grow with them and they won't fall apart.I'm middle aged, back in my day there were still roller rinks and we frequented them. The kids in my neighborhood all had roller skates or blades. For some reason those activities don't seem to be as common these days but they're fun and good exercise.My daughter is 8 and immediately wanted to skate. She has been practicing in the house for now and hasn't gained the confidence to try outside yet but once she does I'm sure she'll have a blast!

Once you figure out the right size for your kid, these are a solid set of skates. They are heavy, feel very well made, and the wheels seem to be made of a good quality material.I love the color; it is very vibrant and fun, and it has a higher quality of skates than your typical cheapo skates that are common. These skates would not be out of place in a skating rink back in the day.A considerable value is the adjustability, which allows for extended playtime and should survive a few years of on-and-off use. which is typical for this type of "toy".

Cute skates that work well.

My 9 year old daughter really liked these. She occasionally was bothered by the hardness of the plastic on the sides (like when her foot was slanted outward). Otherwise she thought they were very nice to skate in.

These will be a birthday gift for our niece who will turn 5 in March.She has an older sister who already has a similar pair and she always chases around after her sister while her sister is skating.This will allow her to learn how to skate and her and her sister will become even closer spending this time together on equal ground.Do skates always look like they are huge to you?They do to me - these skates look so big it seems like grown ups could wear them but it's just perception I guess.The outside is solid plastic so kids are gonna sweat in them and need a bath after use out in the sun.And likely they will need to be stored where they can get a lot of air while not in use.The wheels are adorable with little shimmery flecks in them.The stopper is solid and should last a while - maybe a year.They seem to be well made.The tongue is not as padded as I'd like it to be but does have a little padding.Same as the inner skate area - a little padding, maybe similar to a throw blanket you'd keep on your couch but they could use a little more padding.The laces are cute and match the skates color palette and are long enough to lace up good and tight.My overall impression of these Roller Derby Gumdrop Kids' Adjustable Quad Skate - Mint (3-6) is they are a good value for the current price point.And should provide a great deal of fun for younger kids.

Sharp looking pair of skates. Very well made. Love the fact they can be adjusted. I have 2 granddaughters that can share the same skates. They both are thrilled with these skates.
