I was so happy with the roofing shingles the moment I opened them. I love the color red of these shingles that will look great on my chicken coop that I am in the process of staining black. Others have noted that the roofing shingles are thin. I have left over roofing shingles in my garage from a repair on my roof when shingles had blown off from a storm. The shingles I have are pretty standard roofing shingles. I tried to feel if there was a difference in thickness. I personally could not feel any difference in thickness, and I checked several times. I don't have a micrometer, and I know nothing at all about roofing but if these shingles are thinner, it seems to me it can't be by much when it is slight enough to not feel the difference. I attached a photo of the edge of the shingle to try to show the thickness. Unfortunately, the guy I had do my roof repair, tossed the roofing shingles on an outbuilding floor and they are stuck together now, under things as I thought I might as well use them to protect things from the ground once I saw they are ruined. So I wasn't able to easily access them at the moment to put them side by side. Once I get to the project of reorganizing the outbuilding, I hope to provide a photo of the two side by side for comparison.I am new to learning how to put on roofing and this is a great small project to do in order to learn. I am super happy with the roofing shingles, and I am glad I ordered them.

Pretty thin, kind of an odd size. 39 inches instead of the standard 36. But when you need a few shingles, and not an entire bundle, this can make sense. Plus it's hard to find a color that is close to what you have. I got pretty close with these.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I desperately need shingles for my shed and had the opportunity to order these and I think they are pretty solid. I ordered the red, although the red color is very faint. It's mostly black with a hint of red, but that works out great for me. They come with a board so nothing bends or breaks. That's probably common, but I've never ordered shingles before. It's been along time since I've had to mess around with shingles. They fit the roof great and are easy to work with. They are somewhat thin, but they are for sheds so they are exactly what the description says they are. I like them and would reorder. The price was about $65 when I ordered them which seems fair for the quality and quantity.

Overall for small patch jobs these do the job, I wouldn’t recommend for a whole house, but for re-shingling a shed they are fine.

Take note, these are shed shingles, different from your normal roofing shingle. They're thinner and lighter than roofing shingles.I used this multi pack to patch an area that got damaged in a wind storm. Installation was about 5 minutes per panel and they will definitely last if applied to the right job.They're true to size as listed in the ad. Not that it matters but be ready for an enormous box to be delivered to your front door they package the shingles diagonally in a flat box, inside of a much large rectangular box.Overall very pleased and I easily knocked that repair off the to do list

While I'm not a roofer, these shingles were easy to install. They cut easy by scoring them and folding them. They seem to be pretty durable, as long as they stay flat. They are rated for 97kph or ~60mph, which the shed roof they were installed might see. They cover ~12 sqft, at which Im not sure they are the best value when corrugated metal roofing can be done for cheaper, although a quiet asphalt shingle roof might be worth the difference.
