Excellent quality! Wonderful details! Tremendous value!
Adult (30+) brick builder here. Not affiliated review…I was curious about this brand and gave it a try… I was also skeptical about none major brand brick sets in general but really liked to have building sets with lights baked in… so here we goPros:1. Good quality. Clutch power is different from major brands but works for me as some parts actually feels better this way. Color consistency is very good. No issues at all with quality. I did actually broke off one piece that’s was held with something like a nano-stud but was mainly my own fault as I was fussing too much about alignment and put waaay too much force than I should.2. Good design. Nice details throughout with numerous prints (NO stickers!!). I really love the coffee station setup, even better with the warm light from the ceiling! I will arrange this next to my espresso machine for a complete setup :)3. Good instructions. I consider myself as very experienced brick builder and the instructions are good. Some steps are a bit too combined but no issue for me. The cabling is a bit tricky but the instruction about them is very good. The built-in cabling also slows me down as I like to fuss with alignment and orientation but for me it is a plus to enjoy the longer build process.4. Built-in lights and power! This is revolutionary ! It brings so much more out of the building sets. I had very few brick sets of building as I don’t like to have much of the details hidden in the back in darkness. This is also the main reason I tried this set. Street lights, bedroom lights, reading lights and so much more!!! Really like all of them!5. Extraordinary value! With the amount value I’m getting in terms of quality, design, and fun factor, it is tremendous value compared to major brands!!!Cons:1. Difficulty level, this is probably for older kids or adults as the cabling adds to the complexity and also the requirement for tactility of hand/finger.2. Design. Maybe a bit nitpicking but some parts you will still have to clutch on top of wires, leaving small gaps and unevenness that compromises both aesthetics and structural robustness. Example is around the top area of the front portion on the second level (one picture). Maybe they can come up with new piece designs to accommodate? Another thing is structural robustness across some tall brick pillars. Sometimes there is little overlapping and/or cross connection along different vertical directions for stabilization. I messed up some parts when pressing down during my build and had to repeat sometimes.3. Color. Really nitpicking here but I would love to see a more bright/shiny gold tone if possible.4. Please ignore the name of the brand….. I would really recommend changing the name. Luckily the short name is F.O.Overall:Very very good build and excellent product. I was totally not expecting such nice experience. Can’t wait to buy more from this brand. Also, just ordered the police car with the lights for my kid. I’m sure he will love that!Additionally, I could really use some kit for motion sensing on the lights. I am regardless going to DIY one but would be nice to have some motion sensing bricks to reduce the clutter (if they can make it).

Best Non-LEGO Company I’ve Seen
Been loving LEGO since I was a kid, but they’ve gotten more and more expensive throughout the years. Came across this set/company by just browsing around, and I am insanely happy that I did.Brick Quality / Clutch - The clutch power is very nice, can’t 100% say it’s on LEGO level, but it’s pretty dang competitive. Even when taking the pieces off and rebuilding after a few days, the clutch power still stayed the same. The real test will be after a few years for sure, but for something I’d want to build once and then keep as is, it’s perfect. They’re also not the “mini-size” like a bunch of other non-LEGO building blocks on Amazon, and they seem to be compatible with LEGO themselves. They also feel great and sturdy, definitely not cheap feeling at all.Instructions/Ease of Building - Came with a nice big booklet, the normal building steps were very easy to follow, but when it came to lighting, it threw me off a bit and delayed me a bit. The confusing parts were messing with the slack of the wires, it tells you where to wrap it around, but it’s not 100% perfect and left me taking off and re-building some parts. There’s also instructions online which I used since I was building on my table and to save space. Also keep in mind that most of their sets are highly detailed, plenty of small pieces to kind of make you tired of building for a bit, but that’s what makes it even more fun.Lighting - This was what really pushed me over the edge, the fact that it already included lighting pieces, this definitely sets them apart from LEGO because if you’re factoring the lighting pieces into the price, then the price per brick becomes even cheaper and better deal. It made the set stunning.Design - Designs are brilliant, nice little details EVERYWHERE in the set. It’s not just some random building/cafe, but it’s got a little story behind it too.Price - Price per piece is very nice, got this set for about 70-85 bucks after the coupon that they had. If this was LEGO, it would be an easy $150+. Also just like I recently stated, this comes with lighting already, which makes this even more worth.100000% would recommend and will buy more.

Great, affordable alternative to Lego
Great, affordable alternative to Lego. This was my first Funwhole build, and I am surprised by how much I ended up loving it. The lights can be a bit tricky to thread through the pieces, but the result is 100% worth it. This set is absolutely beautiful and so fun to build. No stickers needed, the little details are printed onto the pieces. Most pieces seem to be Lego compatible. My new set fits in so well with the rest of my displays. I’m so impressed I decided to go for the vacation cabin - excited to keep exploring this alternative to Lego!!

Ooh la la, C
The media could not be loaded. Amazing build. I had a such a good time building the cafe but before I get started, a little bit of background. This was my first set from this company and I knew it was one of their older sets so I had an some background that the lighting was going to be challenge. This company has come a long way since those intial sets and I am looking forward to building more of them. What I love? Zero stickers! Do you hear that Lego? Zero Stickers! The printed titles and other prints are beautiful. The build of the espresso machine withe silver drum laquered pieces. OMG! You have to see it believe it. The details whether on the first floor, second floor or the third were abundant. The quality of the bricks is just as good as Lego and the instructions are not dumb, they are in some instances, a little basic if you're an experienced builder. Take your time though. There are some similiarly colored pieces and you may confuse the two. Zero missing pieces as well.Overall visually stunning and did I mention the price? Super affordable. I just got the newspaper stand and I really want their Old West sets. Thanks!
