I had an issue with weak washer fluid coming out. After I installed these I can clean my windshield and see perfectly.

It was actually harder to pull the hoses off of the old defective pump then to install a new one. That's probably because it's a 2005 vehicle and those were probably the original hoses on the original pump and I live in Florida where it's really hot and humid most of the time. Anyway, I'm not a mechanic whatsoever. I just fix things by watching YouTube videos and this was a super easy repair.

Part was worth the cost, every where else was twice as much or more. However, would be nice if the had rubber caps for the hose connections because when you install it washer fluid comes out till you connect the hoses.If you're installing this on an Expedition or Navigator, remove the passenger side headlight & the pump is literally right there. 10 minute job.

I had ordered this washer pump months and months ago, but when investigating how to change it out, it was recommended that I simply blow the washer fluid lines out with compressed air. When I did that, the washer fluid was spraying on the windshield and rear glass again. Well, just this past month it seems the pump failed completely. I blew the lines out again, but to no avail. I wasn't looking forward to this part change out because I thought I had to remove the battery and battery tray to get to the pump. But, I read another review on Amazon that said to simply pull the the passenger side headlight out, and the washer pump would be easy to access. I found a Youtube showing how to do this on my exact year/make/model, a 2008 Expedition, and I had the washer pump swapped in less than an hour. I also went through the effort of spraying out the tank while the pump was out and cleaned out quite a bit of dirt and debris. This YOKKIP pump looks just like the OEM one, and fit no problem.I don't know how long this washer pump motor will work as it has only been in for about 10 days, but my wiper fluid sprayers are working better than they ever have for us. We bought the Expedition in 2018, and the flow from the washer nozzles has always been subpar. At $10, and an hour or less to change it out, I would hesitate at giving it a shot.

I ordered this to replace the original windshield wiper pump in my 2005 Ford Explorer that had stopped working. The pump removal and replacement went smoothly, and the new pump works great. It was a good fit and started working without any issues. I would recommend this replacement pump as a good solution to this common problem on early 2000s Ford Explorers.
