I needed to bring drink powder to the hospital so my kid would drink. These envelopes hold 4 of the tablespoon scoops easily- and probably could hold 5. Just enough for what we needed to make a 24oz bottle of drink. These would also work very well for instant coffee & creamer or protein powder if you were going camping or preferred to bring your own to work. These scoops included in the set are worthy to buy on their own (and I would if I could find them!) The funnels are sturdy enough to comfortably use without flopping, but they fold up and fit well in the included carrying bag. All in all, I can't say enough good things about this set -

I bought these bags to take protein powder on a cruise. One scoop of my protein powder is 33g. These bags barely fit the entire scoop. One bag wouldn't close so I couldn't use it. I ended up using one of my silicone measuring cups (the small one by OXO) to fill each bag because the funnels were useless, in my own experience. Overall, they did the job and I didn't have to worry about taking a scoop since the serving size was already portioned. Getting the powder out of each bag wasn't an issue either. Couple of taps on the end of the bag and viola.

I've read many reviews saying that people can't fit their protein powder into these...not sure if they're adding more than these are designed for, but I found it no issue at all. If it's helpful... TO LOAD THE POUCHES: When I add my 2 scoops, I use the funnel provided...and I tap the pouch multiple times throughout loading which helps immensely. The key is to get the powder to load into the bottom corners early on...and keep firmly tapping the powder to compact it as you load. TO CLEAN THE POUCHES: I was really concerned these would be a pain to wash but was pleasantly surprised there too. The material is thick which makes cleaning quite easy. I first rinse the pouch out, using a small brush if needed to clean any powder out of the grooves in the seal. Then, I fill it with about 1/4 to 1/3 of water and seal the bag keeping a nice amount of air in the pouch. This allows me to shake the pouch vigorously which cleans out the corners and seams very nicely. To dry, I use a paper towel crinkled into a long "tube" to get the majority of the drips out, then I flip said paper towel and push it back in to prop the pouch open to allow air to get into it and dry it overnight.

Easy to carry around, don't leak powder. Was hard to fill, and empty with fine powder.
