Great analog scale and fairly accurate
I do have a couple digital scales that work fine, and while I like the integrated software and all the features that digital smart scales offer, I found that some digital scales might not be best suited for all environments. The digital battery operate scale I was kept in the bathroom stopped working one day, upon opening the battery compartment I noticed some oxidation and came to the conclusion that the constant humidity might be the cause. I had an old that analog that was always kept in the same area and never had a problem with it, so I am back to keeping an analog scale in the bathroom. The Adamson A21 Analog Scale is perfect for the bathroom because the size is smaller than my other scales and fits easily in areas with limited space. Calibration may be needed, but that is easily done by adjusting the dial until the scale reads zero. I did compare my weight results on this analog scale against another scale that I use regularly and both scales gave fairly the same results, one was off by a small fraction, but I expected that, as long as the lbs are the same, I am ok with the scales being off by a slight fraction. This analog scale does feel well made, and I expect it to last as long as my old analog scale that I regret giving away. Of course, the 20-year warranty that is offered with this scale gives me the confidence that this scale was made to last several years. At less than the current price of $20, this scale is a quality product that offers accurate weight measurements, and I would recommend this scale for anyone looking for a simple and accurate analog scale.

Compact, Lightweight, Low Maintenance Analog Body Scale
The Adamson A12 Analog Bathroom Scale (260Lbs) is a nifty compact body scale. The size is quite small, probably about half the size of an average full-sized scale. There is a top-layer slip resistance pad that is easy to step on. Being analog, it does not need any batteries at all and works via internal resistive springs. It'll need some calibration from its journey, so there is an easily adjustable wheel on the bottom edge to zero the scale. It works decent, and the measurement reading is quick and nostalgic dial style. Do note that this scale has a capacity rating for 260 Lbs, which may or may not be sufficient for every use case. Also, each line division is 2-Lbs/1-Kg, and the accuracy is +/-2 divisions, so some leniency will be necessary. Overall this is a decent low maintenance compact analog body scale.

Manual Body Scale
This is a great analog / manual scale for those who have trouble with the accuracy of digital scales. It's very easy to use, simply reset the red marker to 0 and then step on it. I believe the scale has a +/- 2lb difference in accuracy, but it does give a great reading. I compared it to my digital scale and it actually said I was around the same weight.

Simple functional non-electric scale
This 'Adamson A21 Analog Scale' works well after manually adjusting the starting weight to zero. I like having an analog scale in the house, and it's particularly useful when weighing things like a bag or pet. This scale is small and lightweight, easy to move around and use where needed. I'm satisfied.

It's small
This thing can be a bit touchy: if it's not completely level, the reading can be a bit off, so make sure that you use it on a hard, flat floor (no carpet or rug), and that nothing's touching it.That aside, it's okay. An issue with some digital scales is that their readings might be off, and it's hard to verify what the cause of this is; one of my digital scales will show results plus or minus three pounds, if you're leaving forwards or backwards a bit. With this, it's easy to see if it's at zero, and to use the small dial on the front to set it if need be.My main issue with the scale is its size. I didn't realize this when ordering, but front-to-back, the scale measures only ten and a half inches. Not an issue for some... but I wear a US size 12 mens' shoe, so my feet are in the area of a foot long. It's not like having my toes hanging off the end of a scale for a few seconds is uncomfortable or anything, but if your whole foot isn't on, it's hard to be sure that you're getting an accurate reading.

Accurate
Accuracy: Consistently accurate. I used this alongside my digital weight scale.Ease of Reading: Numbers are easy to read. Screen is a comfortable size.Design & Build Quality: I love the design. It’s really pretty and simple. The scale feels sturdy and doesn't budge when you step on it.Value for Money: I didn’t know that there were analog weight scales for people. Especially for the price, this is a no-brainer. Get this over digital scales that require you to buy and change out batteries after some time.

Made For Smaller Feet, Seems Fairly Accurate Within 1-2 lbs.
It's nice to find a metal analog scale, and not have to worry about the new glass-top scales that are everywhere these days. This scale is only 9" from toe to heel, and my size 9.5 (US) feet hang off. My husband (size 10.5) doesn't want to use it because it's just too small for his liking. It's wider than it is long, but it's too awkward to stand on it sideways and try to see what your weight is.Compared with my glass digital scale, this is within 1-2 pounds accuracy, so it's close enough for my needs. I don't know if feet hanging off the end makes a difference with the exact weight or not.It is metal with decent rubber on top & bottom, so it seems to be strong & durable without sliding around.I wish it was longer heel-to-toe for us bigfooted folks. Four stars from me!

Doesn't need batteries
Nice and lightweight scale. The best part is that it doesn't need batteries like the other scales. It is very easy and simple to calibrate to make sure that it is reading accurately. A simple scale that works well.
