I didn't purchase for cats or deer but for geese....and it WORKS!! We have a small pond in the back off our patio. The geese this year have been coming right up to the patio making the yard a total mess. I tried numerous products to discourage the geese from using my yard, but to no avail. However, with only one spray, set off by 1/2 dozen geese within the first hour of setup, geese now totally avoid my yard. It's been 4 days and none have returned. Easy to set up and to adjust. Best money I have ever spent to save my yard, and our summer!!

Wow, this works just as advertise. 30 to 40‘ and 120 wide width. The other motion sprinklers was awful. I tried two others and I had to turn them. One was.the Yard Enforcer and I thought it was gonna work well because it looked very nice but it only detected when you get right in front of it 30 feet length. It did not take any width length. This motion sprinkler is the best ever and it keeps everything out of my yard.

I have numerous mature peach and plum trees in my backyard. The trees are caged but deer, some bird damage and squirrels are the usual suspects in my area. I thought this product would work so I tried it on a peach tree that matures later in the season, as the others were already picked. I use many long poles as fruit tree supports to prevent damage from deer and breakage of scaffold branches on the trees.I have the device set on high sensitivity. Even if I approached the farthest side of the detector the sprinkler would see me and I had to duck! Two days ago I was looking at the tree and to my chagrin I saw a squirrel actually run up one of the tree support poles, rummaged around and took off with a peach. Did the device see the animal? No. Did it catch it running up the pole? No. After this squirrel disappeared, another showed up and jumped in the tree. I chased it and I got wet but the device didn't pay attention to the squirrel!! Totally laughable situation but this product is basically worthless.Summing up, this may work for deer but if squirrels are a problem avoid this product like the plague.

Product was easy to assemble. Build quality looks quite well. Had an issue with a water leak. First i'd like to say that the silicone tape supplied with the unit is quite thin. I used my silicone tape which is much thicker. The leak happened where the metal base meets the unit its self. The gasket in the metal base is level or even lower than the metal base. Had to add an extra gasket used for a garden hose to stop the leak. After that I noticed that the sensitivity dial really doesn't make much of a difference. Which for me is ok. Other than that this product deserves 5 stars.

It doeees woooorkishhhhh, the first one was replaced because it stopped sensing motion and it would be "on" all the time, It happened after I was trying to set the perfect degree of "sensing" motion by dialing up and down, so with the second one I set it up in the middle and never touch this setting again, it goes off when cars are passing by or sometimes with the wind moving plants nearby. But the main purpose was to keep cats away from this spot in our front yard that they were using as a toilette. IT worked for that 100%, they no longer do it, no bad smell anymore.

I planted new foliage in my backyard and the deer started eating it the first night. I heard about this deer repellent and the reviews were good so I decided to give it a try. It arrived shortly and I immediately set it up. The setup was simple and I turn it on every night. The result is that my plants have been safe and growing ever since. This device is very reliable and I don’t have any issues with it leaking. Great investment!

We have a rat terrier puppy that likes to dig up my flowers in the backyard. Long ago I purchased a motion detector sprinkler that resembled a black bird. It worked great at preventing deer from eating my flowers. I took a chance on this one, mostly because of price, and KNEW the reviews were not that great. The first day I coughed outside and thesprinkler went off. I had it on the 2nd from the lowest setting. The next day I raised by voice and the sprinkler went off. It MOSTLY works when our dog goes near it, but not consistently. This sprinkler goes off 20-30x a day on the lowest setting while no one is around. I now use this motion detection sprinkler to water my flower seeds, so they don't dry out. 😜

A little assembly required. Instructions straight forward. The solar feature saves on batteries. Will be able to save my garden this year. Lots of adjustments available to customize to your area. Nice quality. Bought 2. Take the 2 piece range adjustment off, then reinstall on the other sides of the metal clip.
