Very nice tester. It is easy to use and will save you a lot of time trouble shooting. The tester is built nice and can test a lot of different types of plugs. The side by side saves a lot of time doing two at a time. Takes me around two minutes to test eight plugs. Now with the cost of plugs it is nice to be able to see them work after cleaning so no second guessing after reinstalling plugs. I did find a few bad plugs and two would have made miss fires at random times making it very hard to trouble shoot.

I have to constantly replace sparkplugs does i need to know which ones work. This product serve its purpose.

A great little item to have in your DIY shop for testing plugs. First test I did with my Ancel SP02 was test the plugs on my old ONAN P220 mower engine to get it ready for this year's mowing. With the 2 test holes, it was perfect as I could watch both plugs spark same time. Noticed one plug was not as powerful as other so stopped test to see why. Did air gap measurement and found that weak plug's air gap was off. Did an adjustment and re-tested and ran the power up through it's paces. The higher the so-called RPM of tester, the noise changed in pitch to a high whine which I didn't expect. A good plug will spark blue to blue-white. If you see yellow, arcing out the glass insulator that you might not even notice from a crack, or plug has what is a dead spot (no spark) at certain RPM's of the tester it is time to replace that plug(s). Also, test all new plugs before installation. You'd be surprised to possibly find a bad plug from all the jostling around during shipment. Don't know why I hadn't gotten one of these years ago. They're also kinda fun to watch during the spark testing. I have a couple In-Line Spark Testers that work well, but this is better in that you can actually see the spark plug and what it's doing under a high RPM test load that a mower's engine won't get to and how healthy that spark is through the ranges the tester gives.

Instantly I found 2 spark plugs that were failing in the upper RPMs using this awesome little tester. Paid for itself right there. Just make sure the plugs are cleanly grounded to the tester grounds and you'll get accurate results.

I suspected a bad plug on my tractor. Found a bad plug right off the bat! Saved guessing work. Found a new plug not firing right, the ground was bent, straightened it out and it fired fine

Just got this, in trying it out you have to be in a dark room to see the spark I had to wrap the plastic cover in black tape to see the spark. One thing I found out, I had a new plug and a very old one. The new one was misfiring The old one was still good. Overall it's worth buying just for a test like that. You can test shorter plugs too if you just set them in there. It might not be accurate but you will at least know if it's firering

Sure does make checking sparkplugs easy.
