Will 100amp entrance wire be acceptable?** A: Your service entrance cable from this panel to your house can be 100 amp as long as you only attach it to a 100 amp or less breaker that is installed in this panel. If you mean the wires that feed to the panel from the pole then those SHOULD be 200 amp but the NEC code says that the local authority shall have the final say in what "flies" and what does not as far as feeding the panel.
