CURT 22321 Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin Shim Device, Fits 2-Inch Receiver, 1/2-In Hole

This is a good product that easily solves trailer hitch movement and rattle. To those that find it difficult to install, spreading the sides enough to fit snugly into the trailer part of the hitch.I used a screwdriver to push it to the hole I needed to use. Install the trailer hitch into the vehicle receiver. Align the holes and install the pin through the threaded side and tighten. Install the hairpin and you are done. Easy!

No more wobble, worked perfectly. Hair pin that it comes with is worthless. Tiny and weak, I'd recommend upgrading. Great buy all in all!

I have two of them - they work well but, as others have said, the tab needs to be bent back in most applications because the hole doesn't line up with with whatever you are putting it in. Without the tab the U piece slides in too far. If you simply bend the U so it's wider the piece holds it in place BUT when you tighten the bolt in your receiver the bend is removed and the piece is loose again (b/c the bend is formed in the bottom of the U not in the corners). Solution: drill a hole in a piece of wood and bolt the U down. Then bend it wider. If you do this - the U bends in the corners and the piece stays in place even after you remove it from your receiver.

Easy to install and really does remove the rattling receiver. It's simple yet well built and the main bolt is plenty strong for towing! No sharp edges and finished well, overall quality is high. I chuckled a bit when some knocked the clevis pin size. It's funny cuz the main bolt is a bolt and nut combo (loctite anyone...? ) . It's not just a loose thru pin like ur replacing. I wonder more why they even included a pin! Safety first!Holds everything tight and in place. No more wobbles or noises.

This thing is great. So simple but does the job. My bike rake doesn’t make a noise now.

The product worked as advertised. It stopped the “rattle”. I returned the product because you could not lock it in place without modification.

I recently bought this (F, 40s) for a road trip with our 4 bikes. It was exactly what I was looking for to securely attach our 2" bike rack to the tow hitch. We have a Highlander and had a factory OEM tow hitch installed. I tried a few other hitches but none worked with the sizing. Very happy with how it performed. I expect to use this for years to come on other road trips.

Received our anti rattle hitch pin. Couldn’t wait to get it installed. Piece with the not went into the hitch easily and was able to get it lined up perfectly. Put our carrier into the vehicle receiver and tightened it. Wa-la no more wobble side to side!!! Loaded up our mobility scooter and took it for a ride. It rode beautifully without wobble and without rattle. This will do the job and the price is good. Would definitely buy again! I’d give it 5 stars and then some.LMKTennessee
